안녕하세요! 오늘은 주말을 더욱 특별하게 만들어준 밋업(Meet-Up) 네트워킹 이벤트가 열렸습니다. 교실 문을 열자마자 여러 나라의 언어가 들리고, 테이블마다 웃음이 번지며 활기찬 분위기가 가득했어요.
이번 밋업은 단순한 대화 시간이 아니라, 서로의 문화가 자연스럽게 드러나는 순간들이 이어지는 자리였습니다. 처음에는 조금 낯설어 보였던 참가자들도 금세 편안해져 다양한 주제로 이야기를 나눴습니다.
여행 이야기가 나오면 모두가 가보고 싶은 곳을 떠올리며 눈이 반짝이고, 음식 이야기를 할 때는 각 나라의 특별한 요리를 소개하며 웃음이 터졌어요. 음악과 패션 주제에서는 서로의 취향을 공유하며 대화가 더욱 활발해졌습니다.
쉬는 시간에는 테이블을 옮겨가며 인사를 나누거나 함께 사진을 찍는 모습이 곳곳에서 보였고, 단체 사진에서는 모두가 밝은 표정으로 오늘의 즐거움을 그대로 담아냈습니다.
밋업의 가장 큰 매력은 언어 교환을 넘어 사람과 사람이 연결되는 시간이라는 점이었습니다. 한국어를 배우는 외국 학생들은 표현을 물어보고, 한국 학생들은 영어 등 다양한 언어를 배우며 서로 도움을 주고받았어요.
국적도 언어도 다르지만, ‘함께 이야기하고 싶다’는 마음 하나로 모두가 이어져 있던 따뜻한 하루였습니다. 사진을 다시 보니 그 순간의 공기와 웃음이 그대로 떠오르는 의미 있는 시간이었어요.
Hello! Today, a Meet-Up networking event made the weekend feel even more special. As soon as I stepped into the classroom, I heard different languages from around the world, and laughter spread across the tables, filling the room with energy.
This Meet-Up wasn’t just a time for casual conversation—it was a moment where each person’s culture naturally came to life. Although some participants seemed a bit shy at first, they quickly relaxed and began sharing stories on various topics.
When the travel topic came up, everyone’s eyes lit up as they talked about places they wanted to visit. During the food discussion, people introduced unique dishes from their home countries, sparking laughter. Music and fashion conversations brought out each person’s tastes, making the atmosphere even livelier.
During the break, participants moved around to greet others or take photos together. In the group photo, everyone smiled brightly, capturing the joy of the day.
The true charm of the Meet-Up was how it connected people beyond language exchange. International students learning Korean asked about expressions naturally, while Korean students learned English and other languages, helping one another along the way.
Even though everyone came from different countries and spoke different languages, we were all connected by the simple desire to talk and share.
Looking back at the photos from today, I can still feel the warmth, laughter, and conversations. This Meet-Up wasn’t just a networking event—it was a meaningful space where people respected each other’s cultures and formed new connections.
