Gamcheon Culture Village 감천문화마을

오늘은 외국인들에게 인기가 많은 감천문화마을에 갔어요.

감천문화마을에서 유명한 물고기 타일 앞에서 사진을 찍었어요.

다양한 가게들이 있어서 친구들 기념 선물도 사고 구경도 했어요.

무엇보다 곳곳에 예쁜 포토존들이 많아서 사진도 많이 찍을 수 있어서 좋았어요.

감천문화마을은 골목이 많아서 길을 잃기 쉬워요. 우리도 전망대에 가는 길을 찾으려고 올라갔다 내려갔다 하며 헤매다가 드디어 찾았어요. 힘들었지만 전망대에 도착하자마자 모두 탄성을 질렀어요. 풍경이 정말 멋졌기 때문이에요. 거기서 감천문화마을을 한 눈에 볼 수 있어서 더욱 좋았어요.

우리가 간 날은 날씨가 좋지 않아서 사람들이 많지 않았어요. 그래서 사진도 더 편하게 찍고 더 여유롭 둘러볼 수 있었어요.

모두에게 좋은 추억이 되었기를 바랍니다!

Today we visited Gamcheon Culture Village, which is very popular with foreign visitors.

At Gamcheon Culture Village, we took photos in front of the famous fish-shaped tile wall.

There were many different shops, so we bought souvenirs for our friends and enjoyed looking around.

Most of all, there were many beautiful photo spots throughout the village, so it was great that we could take lots of pictures.

Gamcheon Culture Village has many alleys, so it’s easy to get lost. We also wandered around, going up and down the hills while trying to find the way to the observatory, but we finally found it. It was tiring, but as soon as we arrived at the observatory, everyone exclaimed in amazement because the view was so beautiful. It was even better because we could see the whole village at a glance from there.

The weather wasn’t very good on the day we went, so there weren’t many people. Because of that, we could take photos more comfortably and explore the village at a more relaxed pace.

I hope it became a wonderful memory for everyone!

Seoul Forset – 서울숲

안녕하세요. 오늘은 서울숲에 다녀왔어요.

서울숲은 단순히 나무와 산책길만 있는 숲이 아니라 다양한 동식물을 만나볼 수 있고 주말에는 여러 공연도 열리는 커다란 문화 공간이에요.

안타깝게도 군마상과 거울연못은 2026년 서울국제정원박람회 준비 공사로 인해 들어갈 수 없었어요. 하지만 곤충식물원과 벚나무길, 그리고 사슴방사장은 갈 수 있었어요.

오늘은 날씨가 너무 좋아서 가벼운 마음으로 산책을 했답니다.

저희가 먼저 들른 곳은 곤충식물원이었어요. 곤충식물원에서는 다양한 곤충과 귀여운 거북이, 그리고 여러 나무와 꽃을 구경할 수 있었어요.

다음으로 저희가 향한 곳은 사슴방사장이었어요. 사슴방사장에 가기 위해서는 벚나무길을 지나야 하는데, 4월에 오면 정말 예쁠 것 같았어요.

사슴방사장에 도착하니 귀여운 사슴들이 반겨줬어요.

다들 귀여운 사슴을 찍느라 바빴어요.

사슴방사장 위로는 한강으로 향하는 보행전망교가 있었어요. 날씨가 너무 좋아서 걸어보기로 했어요.

이렇게 서울숲과 한강까지 산책하고 활동을 마쳤어요. 날씨가 너무 좋아서 그런지 친구들 얼굴에도 미소가 끊이지 않았어요.

바쁜 도시의 생활에서 벗어나 잠시 힐링할 수 있는 시간이었답니다.

Hello! Today we visited Seoul Forest.

Seoul Forest is not just a place with trees and walking paths. It’s a large cultural space where you can see a variety of plants and animals, and there are often performances on weekends as well.

Unfortunately, the Equestrian Statue and Mirror Pond were closed because of construction for the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show. However, we were still able to visit the Insect Botanical Garden, the Cherry Blossom Path, and the Deer Enclosure.

The first place we stopped by was the Insect Botanical Garden. There, we could see a variety of insects, a cute turtle, and many different trees and flowers.

Next, we headed to the Deer Enclosure. To get there, we had to walk along the Cherry Blossom Path, and I couldn’t help but think how beautiful it must be in April.

When we arrived at the Deer Enclosure, the adorable deer seemed to welcome us. Everyone was busy taking photos of them.

Above the Deer Enclosure, there was a pedestrian observation bridge that leads toward the Han River. Since the weather was so nice, we decided to take a walk across it.

After walking through Seoul Forest and all the way to the Han River, we wrapped up our activity. Maybe it was because the weather was so nice, but smiles never left my friends’ faces.

It was a nice moment to step away from the busy city life and enjoy a little time to relax and recharge.

MEET UP – 밋업

오늘 밋업은 누구나 다 참여하여 즐길 수 있는 ‘놀이’를 주제로 재미있는 놀이를 해 보며 이야기를 나누었어요.

먼저, 각자 자기소개를 하며 서로를 알아보는 시간을 가진 뒤 여러 나라의 놀이는 어떤 것들이 있는지 대화를 나누었어요.

일본의 다루마오토시, 이탈리아의 치즈굴리기, 스페인의 사람 탑 쌓기 등 각 나라의 전통 놀이나 특별한 날 단체로 즐기는 놀이에 대하여 살펴보고, 한국의 여러 놀이들 중 한국 예능 프로그램에서도 많이 하는 ‘확대(Zoom-in)된 사진 보고 무엇인지 맞추기’, ‘젓가락으로 과자 옮기기’, ‘이미지 게임’을 같이 해 보았어요.

너무 어렵지만 단계가 지나면서 하나둘씩 정답을 맞추며 즐거워하는 학생들!

두번 째 과자옮기기를 하며 옮긴 과자의 크기대로 주어진 점수를 합산하는 학생들이에요.

마지막으로 놀이 한 과자를 먹으면서 이미지 게임을 통해 대화를 하며 밋업 시간을 마무리 하였어요.

서로의 문화와 언어를 재미있는 놀이를 통해 알아가고 나누어 본 뜻 깊은 시간이었습니다.

Today’s meetup was “games” that anyone can join and enjoy. We spent time playing fun games together and having conversations along the way.

First, everyone introduced themselves and had time to get to know one another. After that, we talked about different kinds of games played in various countries.

We looked at traditional or special group games from different cultures, such as Daruma Otoshi from Japan, Cheese Rolling from Italy, and Human Tower building from Spain. Then we tried several games that are popular in Korea and often seen on Korean entertainment shows, such as guessing what something is from a zoomed-in photo, moving snacks with chopsticks, and an image association game.

At first the games were quite challenging, but as the rounds went on, students gradually began to guess the correct answers and had a lot of fun doing it! In the second round of the snack-moving game, students calculated their scores based on the size of the snacks they successfully moved.

Finally, we wrapped up the meetup by enjoying the snacks we used in the games while continuing conversations through the image game.

It was a meaningful time where everyone could learn about and share different cultures and languages through fun activities.

DDP – 동대문 디자인 플라자

안녕하세요!
이번 주에는 DDP 동대문 디자인 플라자에 다녀왔어요.

DDP는 세계적인 건축가 ‘자하 하디드’가 만들었어요.
전시, 패션쇼, 컨퍼런스 등 다양한 문화 행사가 진행되는 서울의 대표 관광지예요.

DDP에 도착하면 4층 잔디언덕에 먼저 가 보세요. 조용하고 평화로워요☺️

그리고 디자인 둘레길을 따라 3층, 2층, 1층으로 내려오면서 전시를 구경했어요.

디자인 쇼룸과 K-뷰티 팝업도 체험하고 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요.

매년 서울패션위크가 열리는 어울림광장에서 우리도 모델처럼 사진을 찍어 보았아요! 📸

DDP 안에는 정말 많은 가게와 볼거리가 있어요.
수업이 끝난 후에도 우리는 쇼핑을 하고 커피를 마실 수 있었어요!

This week, we visited Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).

DDP was designed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid.
It is one of Seoul’s representative tourist attractions where many cultural events such as exhibitions, fashion shows, and conferences take place.

When you arrive at DDP, try visiting the grass hill on the 4th floor first. It is quiet and peaceful. ☺️
Then, we walked along the Design Pathway and looked around the exhibitions while going down from the 3rd floor to the 2nd and 1st floors.
We also visited the design showroom and experienced a K-beauty pop-up store, which was a lot of fun.

At Oullim Square, where Seoul Fashion Week is held every year, we took photos like models! 📸
Inside DDP, there are so many shops and things to see.
Even after class, we could go shopping and enjoy coffee.

You should visit DDP and make great memories with your friends too! 🤩

K-pop Dance – IVE – BANG BANG

안녕하세요. 오늘은 IVE -BANG BANG 춤을 배웠습니다.

춤을 배우기 전 신나는 음악에 맞춰 머리부터 발까지 몸을 충분히 풀어줍니다.
준비 운동 없이 춤을 추면 다음날 몸이 아플 수 있다고 선생님께서 신신당부하셨답니다.

동작 하나하나 천천히 선생님을 따라 배워 봅니다.
처음에는 어색한 탓에 어쩔 줄 모르던 학생들은 강사님의 열정 덕분에 금방 춤에 빠졌답니다.

보이시나요? 처음에 어색했던 모습과 달리 액티비티가 끝날쯤에는 즐기면서 춤을 추는 모습이 제법 전문가와 같아졌어요.

마지막으로 열정적으로 가르쳐주신 강사님과 사진을 찍으면서 액티비티를 마무리했습니다.

Hello! Today, I learned the choreography for IVE’s “BANG BANG”

Before diving into the dance, we thoroughly warmed up from head to toe to some upbeat music. Our instructor emphasized that skipping a warm-up could lead to some serious muscle aches the next day!

We started by following the instructor’s moves step-by-step. Although the students were initially a bit awkward and shy, the instructor’s infectious passion soon had everyone completely immersed in the lesson.

Can you see the difference? Unlike our clumsy start, by the end of the activity, everyone was enjoying themselves and looked like total pros.

We wrapped up the session by taking a commemorative photo with our amazing and passionate instructor.

GANGNAM TOUR – 강남 투어

안녕하세요!

오늘은 학생들과 함께 강남 투어를 했습니다.

먼저 강남역 5번 출구를 지나서
7번 출구 근처에 있는 알라딘 중고서점에 갔습니다.

이곳에는 한국 책뿐만 아니라 외국어 책도 많이 있습니다.
그래서 외국인도 다양한 책을 구경할 수 있습니다.

학생들이 어떤 책인지 천천히 살펴보는 모습이 정말 좋았습니다.

이곳에서는 책뿐만 아니라 앨범, 문구류 등 다양한 물건도 팔고 있어서 함께 구경했습니다.

그 다음에는 강남역 7번 출구와 10번 출구를 지나
미니소에 갔습니다.

미니소에서는 다양한 캐릭터 상품을 재미있게 구경했습니다.

그 후에는 강남 먹자골목을 지나갔습니다.
이곳에는 식당과 카페가 많아서 점심과 저녁 시간에 사람이 많습니다.
다행히 오늘은 사람이 많은 시간이 아니어서
길을 잃지 않고 잘 이동할 수 있었습니다 🙂

그리고 먹자골목을 지나 강남스타일 포토존에 갔습니다.
여기에서 모두 함께 단체 사진을 찍었습니다!

이렇게 오늘의 강남 투어가 끝났습니다.

다음 주 투어도 정말 기대됩니다 😀


Hello!

Today I went on a Gangnam tour with the students.

First, we walked past Exit 5 of Gangnam Station
and went to Aladin Used Bookstore Gangnam Branch near Exit 7.

There are not only Korean books, but also many foreign language books.
So foreigners can also enjoy looking at the books.

The students looked at many books and checked what they were about.
It was nice to see them exploring the books.

The store also sells albums, stationery, and other items,
so we looked around together.

Next, we walked past Exit 7 and Exit 10 of Gangnam Station
and went to MINISO.

At MINISO, we looked at many cute character goods.

After that, we walked through the Gangnam food street.
There are many restaurants and cafes, so it is usually very busy during lunch and dinner time.

Luckily, it was not a busy time today,
so we did not get lost 🙂

Then we went to the Gangnam Style Photo Zone near Exit 11.
We took a group photo together there!

And that was the end of today’s Gangnam tour.

I am really looking forward to next week’s tour 😀

K-POP DANCE – IVE – BANG BANG

안녕하세요!

지난 금요일 문화 체험 시간에 K-pop 댄스를 배웠습니다.
이번에 배운 노래는 IVE의 BANG BANG입니다!

먼저 노래에 맞춰 선생님을 따라 하며 몸을 풀었습니다.

그 다음에는 본격적으로 안무를 배웠습니다.
처음에는 천천히 동작을 배우고, 점점 원래 속도에 맞춰 연습했습니다.

처음에는 조금 어색했지만, 계속 연습하니 점점 몸에 익숙해졌습니다.
나중에는 리듬에 맞춰 춤을 출 수 있었습니다!
모두 정말 멋있었습니다 😀

그리고 몇 개의 그룹으로 나누어 춤도 춰 보고,
마지막에는 선생님과 함께 춤을 췄습니다.

마지막으로 선생님과 단체 사진을 찍으며 액티비티를 마무리했습니다.

모두에게 즐거운 하루였습니다 😀

Last Friday, we learned a K-pop dance in our culture class.
The song was BANG BANG by IVE!

First, we warmed up by following the teacher and moving our bodies with the music.

Then we started learning the dance.
At first, we learned the moves slowly.
After that, we practiced again with the normal speed.

At the beginning, it felt a little awkward.
But after practicing, the dance became easier and we could move with the rhythm.

Everyone did a great job! 😀

We also danced in small groups,
and at the end we danced together with the teacher.

Finally, we took a group photo with the teacher to finish the activity.

It was a fun day for everyone! 😀

K-POP DANCE – IVE – BANG BANG

안녕하세요!
이번 주 액티비티 시간에 우리는 K-POP 안무를 배웠어요.
이번 시간에 배운 안무는 ‘IVE’의 ‘BANG BANG’이에요!

안무를 배우기 전에 스트레칭으로 굳은 몸을 풀었어요.
이제 본격적으로 안무를 배워 볼까요~?

안무 선생님을 따라 한 동작씩 익혀 갔어요.
먼저 느린 음악 속도에 맞춰 동작을 연습하고,
그다음 원래 속도에 맞춰서도 해 보았어요:)

모두 집중해서 선생님을 따라 했어요.
노래가 빨라서 조금 어려웠지만, 연습할수록 점점 더 잘하게 되었어요.

열심히 연습해서 해내는 우리 친구들이 정말 멋졌어요!

마지막으로 각자 휴대폰으로 동영상을 촬영했어요.
나중에 즐거운 추억으로 남을 것 같아요!

마지막으로 안무 선생님과 사진을 찍으며 오늘 액티비티를 마무리했어요!

정말 즐거운 시간이었어요 🙂

In this week’s activity, we learned a K-POP dance.
The choreography we learned today was “BANG BANG” by IVE.

Before learning the choreography, we warmed up and stretched to loosen our stiff bodies.
Now, shall we start learning the dance?

We followed the dance instructor and practiced the moves one by one.
First, we practiced the movements with the music at a slower speed,
and then we tried dancing to the original speed as well 🙂

Everyone focused and followed the instructor carefully.
The song was fast, so it was a little difficult, but the more we practiced, the better we got.

Our friends worked hard and successfully learned the dance, which was really impressive!

At the end, everyone recorded a video using their own phones.
I think it will become a fun memory to look back on later.

Finally, we took a photo with the dance instructor and wrapped up today’s activity.
It was a really enjoyable time! 🙂

Haeundae Beach & Haeundae Market

이번에는 도시와 바다가 아름답게 어우러지는 해운대와 해운대 시장에 다녀왔습니다.

날씨가 아직 추웠지만 드넓게 펼쳐진 초록빛 바다를 보니 마음이 상쾌해졌습니다.

물이 차가워도 바다에 왔으니 발도 담가보고 모래 위에 각자의 이름도 써 보았습니다.

이름을 쓰고 있는데 파도가 우리가 있는 곳까지 밀려와서 깜짝 놀라면서도 함께 크게 웃을 수 있었습니다.

이 날 갈매기들이 정말 많아서 새들도 구경하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

해변을 따라 바다도 보고 새들도 보면서 산책을 했습니다.

유람선 있는 곳까지 이야기를 나누며 걷다 보니 출출해져서 해운대 시장으로 갔습니다.

해운대 시장에서 다양한 음식들을 구경하다가 가장 맛있어 보이는 벌집 아이스크림을 먹었습니다.

이 아이스크림은 부드러운 우유 아이스크림 위에 진짜 벌집과 꿀을 올려줍니다. 그래서 더욱 달고 맛있었습니다.

겨울에 보는 바다, 겨울에 먹는 벌집 아이스크림 모두 색다르고 재미있는 경험이 되었기를 바랍니다!!

This time, we visited Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market, where the city and the sea come together beautifully.

Although the weather was still cold, seeing the vast greenish-blue ocean stretching out before us made us feel refreshed.

Even though the water was cold, we were at the beach, so we dipped our feet in the sea and wrote each of our names in the sand.

While we were writing our names, a wave suddenly rolled all the way up to where we were standing. It surprised us, but it also made us burst out laughing together.

There were so many seagulls that day, so we spent a fun time watching the birds as well.

We took a walk along the beach, enjoying the view of the ocean and the birds.

As we kept walking and chatting all the way to where the cruise boats are, we started to feel hungry, so we headed to Haeundae Market.

At Haeundae Market, we looked around at the many different foods and decided to try the honeycomb ice cream that looked the most delicious.

This ice cream has soft milk ice cream topped with a real piece of honeycomb and honey, which makes it even sweeter and more delicious.

We hope that seeing the sea in winter and enjoying honeycomb ice cream in winter became a unique and fun experience for everyone!!

STUDENT NIGHT – 스튜던트 나잇

오늘은 외국인 학생들과 한국인 학생들이 함께 치킨 식당에 가서 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요.

한 달의 마지막 주 금요일이라 많은 사람들이 참여해 더욱 활기찬 분위기를 느낄 수 있었어요.

테이블마다 외국인 친구들과 한국인 친구들이 함께 앉아 한국의 대표 음식인 치킨과 맥주를 즐기며 서로의 문화를 소개했어요.

한국인 학생들은 한국의 술 문화를 알려주며 재미있는 이야기를 나누었고, 외국인 친구들은 수업 시간에 배운 한국어를 직접 사용해 보면서 뿌듯함을 느낄 수 있는 시간이었어요.

비록 국적은 달라도 맛있는 음식을 함께 나누며 행복한 기분을 느끼는 건 모두 같았던 것 같아요. 🍴✨
다음 달에도 더 즐겁고 의미 있는 시간을 함께 보내길 기대합니다!

Today, students both international and Korean, went together to a chicken restaurant and had a wonderful time. Since it was the last Friday of the month, many people joined, making the atmosphere even more lively.
At each table, international and Korean friends sat together, enjoying Korea’s signature pairing of chicken and beer while introducing their cultures to one another. Korean students shared stories about Korean drinking culture, while international friends proudly practiced the Korean they had learned in class.
Although everyone came from different countries, sharing delicious food brought the same feeling of happiness to all. 🍴✨
We look forward to spending even more enjoyable and meaningful moments together next month!
