매달 마지막 주 금요일마다 특별한 언어 교환 프로그램인 ‘스튜던트 나잇(Student Night)’이 열립니다!
한국인 학생들과 외국인 학생들이 한데 모여 자연스럽게 각자의 언어와 문화를 공유하며 교류하는 활기찬 자리입니다.
출출함을 채워줄 메뉴는 매달 격달로 바뀌는데, 삼겹살과 소주부터 치킨과 맥주까지 한국의 맛있는 맛집 감성을 그대로 담아냅니다.
이번 달 메뉴는 호불호 없이 모두가 사랑하는 대표 궁합, 바삭한 치킨과 시원한 맥주 ‘치맥’이었습니다.
한 테이블에 한국 학생 2명과 외국 학생 2명이 오붓하게 둘러앉아 맛있는 음식을 즐기며 본격적인 대화를 시작했습니다.
서로의 언어로 이야기를 주고받고 모르는 표현을 친절히 알려주다 보니 금세 식당 안은 웃음소리로 가득 찼습니다.
서툰 언어라도 눈빛과 손짓으로 마음을 나누며 언어 장벽을 허무는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.
맛있는 음식도 먹고 외국어 실력도 키우며 매력적인 외국인 친구들까지 사귈 수 있어 언제나 인기가 높습니다.
단순한 만남을 넘어 실제 언어를 써보며 진짜 유용한 표현을 배울 수 있는 가슴 설레는 현장이었습니다.
다음 달 스튜던트 나잇에는 과연 어떤 맛있는 음식과 새로운 만남이 기다리고 있을지 벌써부터 기대가 됩니다!
Every last Friday of the month, a special language exchange program called “Student Night” takes place!
It is a lively gathering where Korean and international students come together to naturally share and exchange their languages and cultures.
The menu to satisfy everyone’s appetite alternates every month, featuring authentic Korean food culture from Samgyeopsal (pork belly) & Soju to Chicken & Beer.
This month’s menu was the universally loved classic pairing: crispy chicken and refreshing beer, “Chimaek.”
Sitting in cozy groups of two Korean students and two international students per table, everyone enjoyed the delicious food while diving into fun conversations.
As they chatted in each other’s languages and kindly explained unfamiliar expressions, the restaurant was quickly filled with laughter.
Even with imperfect language skills, sharing warmth through eye contact and gestures made it a meaningful time that broke down language barriers.
It is always a popular event where students can enjoy great food, improve their language skills, and make fantastic global friends.
More than just a regular meeting, it was an exciting experience where students could put their language skills into real use and learn practical everyday expressions.
We are already looking forward to seeing what delicious food and new connections await us at next month’s Student Night!
