안녕하세요! 오늘은 K‑culture 문화체험으로 노리개 만들기 활동을 하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 금요일 오후, 교실에 모여 한국의 전통 장신구인 노리개를 직접 만들어보며 한국 전통문화에 대한 이해를 높이는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈어요.
먼저 노리개가 어떤 의미를 가진 장신구인지, 그리고 조선시대 왕 뒤에 놓였던 특별한 그림 일월오봉도의 상징과 이야기를 함께 살펴보았습니다. 참가자들은 일월오봉도의 색채와 상징을 이해한 뒤, 준비된 컬러링 자료를 자유롭게 색칠하며 한국 전통미를 느껴보는 시간을 가졌습니다.
이후에는 본격적으로 나만의 노리개 만들기가 시작되었어요. 작은 구슬과 장식들을 하나하나 끼우고, 색실을 고르며 각자의 개성을 담아 작품을 완성해 나갔습니다. 사진에서도 보이듯 모두 집중해서 작업하는 모습이 정말 인상적이었고, 처음 해보는 전통 공예임에도 불구하고 금세 익숙해져 멋진 노리개를 완성했습니다.
마지막에는 서로의 작품을 보여주며 노리개 자랑하기 시간도 가졌습니다. 완성된 노리개를 들고 단체 사진도 찍었는데, 한국 문화를 직접 체험하며 함께 웃고 즐기는 모습이 참 보기 좋았어요.
오늘 활동을 통해 참가자들은 한국어뿐 아니라 한국의 전통미와 문화적 상징성까지 자연스럽게 경험할 수 있었습니다. 다음 문화체험도 벌써 기대됩니다!
Hello everyone! Today, we enjoyed a wonderful time participating in a K‑culture activity — making traditional Korean Norigae. On Friday afternoon, we gathered in the classroom and created our own Norigae, deepening our understanding of Korean traditional culture through hands‑on experience.
We began by learning about what a Norigae is and exploring the symbolism behind Irwol Obongdo, the special painting that was placed behind the king during the Joseon Dynasty. After understanding the colors and meanings within Irwol Obongdo, participants spent time coloring the prepared materials, experiencing the beauty of traditional Korean aesthetics.
Then came the highlight of the day — making our own Norigae. Everyone carefully threaded small beads and decorative pieces, chose their favorite colors of thread, and created unique designs that reflected their personal style. As you can see in the photos, everyone was fully focused on their work, and despite it being their first time trying traditional Korean crafts, they quickly got the hang of it and produced beautiful Norigae.
To wrap up the session, we shared our finished pieces during a Norigae showcase time. We also took a group photo with our completed Norigae, and it was heartwarming to see everyone smiling and enjoying the cultural experience together.
Through today’s activity, participants were able to naturally learn not only Korean language but also the traditional beauty and cultural symbolism of Korea. We’re already looking forward to the next cultural experience!
