이번에 한글날을 기념하여 한글 손글씨 대회가 열렸어요.

한글날(10월 9일)은 세종대왕이 훈민정음을 창제하여 반포한 것을 기념하고, 한글의 우수성을 널리 알리기 위해 지정된 대한민국의 국경일이자 법정 공휴일이에요. 이렇게 소중하고 아름다운 한글을 자기만의 개성있는 손글씨로 쓸 멋진 글들을 다들 준비해 왔답니다.

먼저, 각자 준비해 온 글들과 함께 다른 예시의 글들과 대회에서 수상했던 손글씨들을 보면서 나는 어떤 멋지고 개성있는 손글씨를 쓸까 생각하며 기대에 찬 모습으로 준비를 해 보았어요.

준비해 온 글들을 꺼내어 먼저 종이에 연습을 해 보았어요. 세계적으로 유명한 명언, 한국의 유명한 시인의 시, 감동을 주는 노래 가사, 본인의 신념을 담아 써온 글, 한국어로 하고 싶었던 말, 등 정말 다양한 글들을 준비해 왔답니다.

다 같이 감수성을 풍부하게 해 줄 노래를 들으며 한 줄 한 줄 연습을 했어요.

맞춤법이나 띄어쓰기 등 틀린 것은 없는지 검토도 해 가며, 다시 한 번 연습 또 연습을 하며 다들 최선을 다했어요.

드디어 길고 긴 연습 끝에 대회 지정 용지에 하나 둘씩 진지하게 써 내려가기 시작했어요.

이번 대회에서 입상하는 학생에게는 수강권, 주문 제작 도장, 올리브영 상품권의 상품도 걸려있기 때문에 학생들은 더 기대에 찬 모습으로 열심히 손글씨를 썼어요.

드디어, 모두들 손글씨 쓰기가 끝났어요. 어디 한 번 다 같이 우리 학생들의 실력을 살펴볼까요?

어때요? 정말 다들 개성이 돋보이고 하나하나 다 멋지지 않나요?

To celebrate Hangeul Day, a Korean handwriting contest was recently held.

Hangeul Day (October 9th) is a national holiday and legal public holiday in South Korea designated to commemorate King Sejong creating and promulgating Hunminjeongeum (the Korean alphabet) and to widely publicize the excellence of Hangeul. Everyone came prepared with wonderful texts to write in their own unique and charming handwriting style.

Before starting, the participants looked at their own prepared texts alongside various examples and past award-winning handwritings, imagining how they could write their own wonderful and unique pieces with excited anticipation. They took out the texts they had prepared and first practiced on scrap paper. They brought a truly diverse range of writings, including world-famous quotes, poems by famous Korean poets, touching song lyrics, personal mottos, and things they had always wanted to express in Korean. Listening to emotional music together, they practiced line by line. They checked for any spelling or spacing errors, practicing and practicing again to do their very best. Finally, after a long and thorough practice, they earnestly began writing one by one on the official contest paper.

With exciting prizes on the line for the winners—such as a tuition voucher, custom-made stamps, and Olive Young gift cards—the students wrote their handwritings with even more excitement and dedication.

At last, everyone finished their handwriting pieces. Shall we take a look at our students’ impressive skills together? Don’t they all showcase distinct personalities and look truly wonderful one by one? It is so exciting to wonder which of these fantastic pieces will win an award. Why don’t you also take some time to write down a wonderful text of your own in your unique handwriting style?

가을 기운이 물씬 풍기는 10월, 어김없이 매월 첫째 주를 따뜻하게 채워주는 ‘잡클럽(Job Club)’이 문을 열었습니다. 한국에서 스스로의 길을 씩씩하게 개척해 나가는 외국인 학생들과 또 한 번 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈는데요.

이번 모임에서는 풍부한 경험을 가진 한 친구와 깊은 이야기를 나누었습니다. 방대한 정보를 보기 좋게 정돈하는 능력과 사람들과 소통하는 힘을 가진 친구였기에, 그 온전한 강점을 잘 발휘할 수 있는 직무를 함께 고민해 보았습니다.

우선 한국의 대표적인 채용 포털 사이트들을 둘러보며 요즘 취업 시장의 흐름을 읽었습니다. 내가 가고 싶은 분야에서 외국인 인재를 얼마나 찾고 있는지 눈으로 직접 확인하면서, 조금은 아득하게 느껴졌던 한국 취업의 실체에 한 걸음 더 가까워졌지요. 이어서 한국 기업 문화가 담긴 이력서와 자기소개서 작성 팁도 꼼꼼히 짚어보았습니다. 특히 이번에는 자신이 이미 작성한 이력서를 가지고 왔기 때문에 한국식 이력서와 어떤 차이가 있는지 비교해 보는 아주 뜻 깊은 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.

서류의 문턱을 넘어섰다면 이제는 면접 준비입니다. 자주 등장하는 면접 질문들을 풀어보며 “면접관은 왜 이 질문을 던졌을까?” 그 행간의 의도를 파악하는 훈련을 했습니다. 고국에서의 소중한 경험을 빛나는 스토리로 바꾸는 법, 조금 모자란 경력은 뜨거운 열정과 가능성으로 메우는 답변 스킬을 익히며 면접을 향한 불안감을 당당한 확신으로 바꾸어 나갔습니다.

여러분 각자의 꿈이 이 땅에서 아름답게 결실 맺을 수 있도록, 잡클럽은 늘 곁에서 묵묵히 든든한 징검다리가 되어 드리겠습니다.

As the autumn air fills the season, October’s ‘Job Club’—which brings us together during the first week of every month—opened its doors once again. We had another deeply meaningful time with a student who is courageously carving out her own path in Korea.

During this session, we had an in-depth conversation with a student who boasts a wide array of experiences. Possessing great skills in organizing vast amounts of information as well as a natural flair for connecting with people, we explored various career paths together where these strengths could truly shine.

First, we browsed major Korean job portals to read the current trends in the employment market. By checking firsthand how much demand there is for international talent in their desired fields, the student took a step closer to understanding the reality of working in Korea—something that had previously felt a bit vague. Next, we carefully went over essential tips for writing Korean-style résumés and cover letters. Especially this time, since the student brought a resume she had already written, we had a very meaningful time comparing it with a Korean-style resume to see how they differed. 

Once you cross the hurdle of the document screening stage, it’s time to prepare for interviews! Working through frequently asked interview questions, we practiced reading between the lines to ask, “Why did the interviewer ask this?” By mastering structured answer frameworks—learning how to transform international experiences into compelling stories and how to fill gaps in work history with passion and potential—we turned vague interview anxieties into solid confidence.

So that each of your dreams can bear beautiful fruit here in Korea, Job Club will always be right by your side, quietly serving as your dependable stepping stone.

매달 마지막 주 금요일마다 특별한 언어 교환 프로그램인 ‘스튜던트 나잇(Student Night)’이 열립니다!

한국인 학생들과 외국인 학생들이 한데 모여 자연스럽게 각자의 언어와 문화를 공유하며 교류하는 활기찬 자리입니다.

출출함을 채워줄 메뉴는 매달 격달로 바뀌는데, 삼겹살과 소주부터 치킨과 맥주까지 한국의 맛있는 맛집 감성을 그대로 담아냅니다.

이번 달 메뉴는 호불호 없이 모두가 사랑하는 대표 궁합, 바삭한 치킨과 시원한 맥주 ‘치맥’이었습니다.

한 테이블에 한국 학생 2명과 외국 학생 2명이 오붓하게 둘러앉아 맛있는 음식을 즐기며 본격적인 대화를 시작했습니다.

서로의 언어로 이야기를 주고받고 모르는 표현을 친절히 알려주다 보니 금세 식당 안은 웃음소리로 가득 찼습니다.

서툰 언어라도 눈빛과 손짓으로 마음을 나누며 언어 장벽을 허무는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

맛있는 음식도 먹고 외국어 실력도 키우며 매력적인 외국인 친구들까지 사귈 수 있어 언제나 인기가 높습니다.

단순한 만남을 넘어 실제 언어를 써보며 진짜 유용한 표현을 배울 수 있는 가슴 설레는 현장이었습니다.

다음 달 스튜던트 나잇에는 과연 어떤 맛있는 음식과 새로운 만남이 기다리고 있을지 벌써부터 기대가 됩니다!

Every last Friday of the month, a special language exchange program called “Student Night” takes place!

It is a lively gathering where Korean and international students come together to naturally share and exchange their languages and cultures.

The menu to satisfy everyone’s appetite alternates every month, featuring authentic Korean food culture from Samgyeopsal (pork belly) & Soju to Chicken & Beer.

This month’s menu was the universally loved classic pairing: crispy chicken and refreshing beer, “Chimaek.”

Sitting in cozy groups of two Korean students and two international students per table, everyone enjoyed the delicious food while diving into fun conversations.

As they chatted in each other’s languages and kindly explained unfamiliar expressions, the restaurant was quickly filled with laughter.

Even with imperfect language skills, sharing warmth through eye contact and gestures made it a meaningful time that broke down language barriers.

It is always a popular event where students can enjoy great food, improve their language skills, and make fantastic global friends.

More than just a regular meeting, it was an exciting experience where students could put their language skills into real use and learn practical everyday expressions.

We are already looking forward to seeing what delicious food and new connections await us at next month’s Student Night!

한국의 아름다운 전통문화를 함께 나누는 특별한 문화체험을 진행했어요.

이번 체험의 주제는 조선시대 왕의 병풍으로 유명한 일월오봉도를 모티브로 한 ‘나만의 노리개 만들기’였어요.

본격적인 만들기에 앞서 일월오봉도의 역사적 의미와 상징을 담은 영상과 설명을 함께 감상한 뒤 색칠하기 활동을 시작했어요.

전통 색감을 그대로 살려 고풍스럽게 채색하는 학생도 있었고, 본인만의 독창적인 감성을 담아 알록달록하게 표현하는 학생도 있어 보는 즐거움이 있었어요.

색칠을 마친 후에는 본격적으로 노리개 제작에 들어갔어요. 작은 비즈를 하나하나 실어 나르며 장식하는 수작업이다 보니 교실 전체가 고도의 집중력으로 숨죽이기도 했어요.

국적도, 문화도 모두 다른 다양한 국가의 학생들이 한 테이블에 둘러앉아 한국어를 공용어로 사용하며 이야기를 나누는 모습이 매우 인상적이었어요.

서툰 한국어지만 서로 도우며 웃음꽃을 피우는 모습에서 언어와 문화를 넘어서는 따뜻한 연결감을 느낄 수 있었어요.

직접 만든 근사한 노리개를 들고 뿌듯해하는 학생들의 모습을 볼 수 있었어요.

다음엔 또 어떤 한국의 멋과 전통을 함께 느껴볼 수 있을까요?

We held a special cultural activity where we shared the beauty of traditional Korean culture with our students.

The theme of this activity was making custom Norigae (traditional Korean tassels) inspired by Irworobongdo, the famous painted screen set behind the king’s throne during the Joseon Dynasty. Before diving into the craft, we watched a video and listened to an explanation about the historical significance and symbolism of Irworobongdo, and then began the coloring activity.

It was wonderful to see the students’ creativity: some chose traditional shades to create an elegant, classic look, while others infused their own unique styles to make colorful versions.

After coloring, we started assembling the Norigae. Since it was a delicate handcrafting process requiring us to place tiny beads one by one, the entire classroom was filled with deep focus and silence.

It was truly inspiring to see students from various countries and cultural backgrounds sitting around the same table, using Korean as their shared language to talk with one another. Even with clumsy Korean, they helped each other and laughed together, creating a warm sense of connection that transcended language and culture.

I was so proud to see the students smiling as they held up the wonderful Norigae they created with their own hands.

안녕하세요! 오늘은 인사동에 다녀왔어요.

인사동은 예전부터 풍부한 문화가 숨 쉬는 장소예요. 유명한 화가와 작가들이 활동하던 곳이라, 지금도 화방이나 골동품을 파는 예스러운 가게들이 많이 남아 있죠. 최근에는 K-컬처를 경험하려는 외국인 관광객들이 많이 찾으면서, 옛 정취와 생기 넘치는 현대의 모습이 어우러져 더욱 독특한 분위기를 자아내고 있어요.

지하철 안국역에 내려 인사동 입구로 들어서는데, 마침 취타대가 공연을 준비하고 있더라고요. 궁금해서 잠시 기다려봤지만 준비가 생각보다 너무 길어지는 바람에, 아쉬움을 뒤로하고 먼저 쌈지길로 이동했습니다.

‘쌈지’는 주머니라는 뜻인데요. 건물을 따라 나선형으로 빙글빙글 올라가다 보면 어느새 꼭대기에 도달하게 되는 구조라, 마치 길게 이어진 ‘길’을 걷는 것 같아요. 그래서 이름도 ‘쌈지길’이 되었다고 합니다.

그런데 길을 따라 올라가는 도중에 밖에서 흥겨운 취타대의 연주 소리가 들려왔어요! 아까 아쉽게 돌아섰던 취타대의 퍼레이드가 드디어 시작된 거 있죠? 잠시 걸음을 멈추고 서서 신나게 구경했습니다. 취타대의 음악 소리는 아주 독특하고 흥겨워서 저절로 발길을 사로잡는 매력이 있는 것 같아요.

이곳에는 정말 다양하고 매력적인 공방들이 가득했어요. 도장, 자개, 자수, 구슬공예 등 눈이 번쩍 뜨일 만큼 예쁜 물건들이 가득해 구경하는 재미가 쏠쏠했습니다. 건물 맨 위에는 하늘정원이 마련되어 있는데요. 차 한 잔의 여유와 함께 도심에서 보기 드문 탁 트인 넓은 하늘을 감상할 수 있어 정말 좋았습니다.

쌈지길을 내려와 이번에는 안녕인사동으로 향했습니다. 이곳은 보다 현대적인 한국 문화를 경험할 수 있는 복합문화공간이에요. 나만의 맞춤 볼펜을 만들 수 있는 체험 공간부터, K-POP 팬들이라면 눈이 돌아갈 만한 굿즈 숍까지 알차게 들어서 있었습니다.

현대적으로 재해석된 인사동을 충분히 즐겼으니, 이제는 좀 더 고즈넉한 전통을 느껴보고 싶어졌어요. 그래서 발걸음을 옮긴 곳은 바로 운현궁입니다.

운현궁은 조선 말기 왕의 가족들이 실제로 거주했던 한옥이에요. 북촌에도 한옥이 많지만 대개 외관만 볼 수 있는 반면, 운현궁은 실내까지 가까이 들여다볼 수 있어서 훨씬 깊이 있게 감상할 수 있었어요. 유려한 지붕 선과 세월의 흔적이 고스란히 스며든 나무 기둥, 툇마루를 바라보고 있으니 ‘실제로 이곳에 살았던 사람들은 얼마나 운치 있고 좋았을까’ 하는 생각이 들더라고요. 기회가 된다면 이런 멋진 한옥에서 꼭 한번 머물러보고 싶습니다.

그런데 운현궁을 둘러보다가 믿기지 않는 만남이 있었어요. 바로 진짜 너구리를 만난 거예요! (라면 아니에요!) 이런 도심 한가운데에 야생 너구리가 살고 있다니 정말 신기했습니다.

저희 일행이 너도나도 카메라를 들고 사진을 찍어대니, 너구리도 꼭 유명 연예인이 된 듯한 느낌이었을 것 같아요. 처음에는 수줍었는지 슬그머니 나무 뒤에 숨어 있더니, 나중에는 팬 서비스라도 해주는 것처럼 밖으로 나와 ‘어디 한 번 찍어봐라’ 하는 포즈까지 취해주더라고요. 수줍지만 당당했던 너구리 씨 덕분에 다 함께 한참을 웃었습니다.

선선하게 불어오는 바람과 맑고 예쁜 가을 하늘, 그리고 좋은 친구들과 함께 고전과 현대를 넘나들며 즐긴 완벽하고 기분 좋은 오후였습니다.

Hello! Today, we spent time visiting Insadong.

Insadong has long been a place rich in culture and heritage. As an area where famous painters and writers used to be active, it is still home to many charming, old-fashioned shops selling art supplies and antiques. Recently, with an influx of foreign tourists visiting to experience K-culture, the neighborhood presents a truly unique atmosphere where traditional nostalgia meets lively modern vibes.

Getting off at Anguk Station on the subway and heading toward the entrance of Insadong, we noticed a Chwitadae (traditional Korean royal marching band) preparing for a performance. Curious, we waited for a bit, but as their preparations took much longer than expected, we left our regrets behind and headed to Ssamzigil first.

The word Ssamzi means “small pouch.” The building features a spiral structure that leads you continuously all the way to the rooftop, making the walk feel like a long, connected path. That is how it earned the name Ssamzigil (“Ssamzi Path”).
As we were walking up the pathway, we heard the joyful sounds of music from outside! It turned out that the royal marching parade we had almost missed earlier had finally begun. We paused for a moment to watch the lively performance. The distinct, upbeat melody of the Chwitadae had a mesmerizing charm that naturally brought everyone to a standstill.

The building was filled with a variety of delightful craft workshops. From custom stamps and mother-of-pearl crafts to embroidery and beadwork, there were so many stunning items that it was a joy just to look around. On the top level sits the Sky Garden. It was wonderful to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while taking in the expansive, open sky—a rare sight in the middle of the city.

After walking down from Ssamzigil, we headed over to Anyoung Insadong. This is a complex cultural space where you can experience a more contemporary side of Korean culture. It was packed with fun things to see and do, from hands-on spots where you can create your own custom pen to merchandise shops that any K-POP fan would adore.

Having fully enjoyed this modern reinterpretation of Insadong, we wanted to experience something a bit more quiet and traditional. So, we made our way to Unhyeongung Royal Residence.

Unhyeongung is a traditional hanok where members of the royal family lived during the late Joseon Dynasty. While Bukchon also has many hanok houses, you can usually only view them from the outside; Unhyeongung, on the other hand, allows you to look inside the rooms, offering a much deeper appreciation. Looking at the graceful rooflines, the wooden pillars imbued with the passage of time, and the open wooden verandas, I couldn’t help but think how wonderful it must have been to actually live here. If given the chance, I would love to stay overnight in a stunning hanok like this.

While exploring Unhyeongung, however, we had an unbelievable encounter: we ran into a real raccoon! (And no, not the instant noodle brand!) It was amazing to see a wild raccoon living right in the heart of the city.

As we all pulled out our cameras to snap photos, the raccoon must have felt like a famous celebrity. At first, it hid shyly behind a tree, but later, as if giving us a bit of fan service, it stepped out and posed as if saying, “Go ahead, take my picture!” Thanks to our shy yet confident “Mr. Raccoon,” we all had a great laugh together.

With a cool, gentle breeze, a clear and beautiful autumn sky, and great friends to cross between the past and present, it was a thoroughly delightful afternoon.

안무를 배우기 전에 스트레칭으로 굳은 몸을 풀었어요.
이제 본격적으로 안무를 배워 볼까요~?

신나는 음악에 맞춰 동작을 하나씩 배워 보았답니다.

처음에는 낯설고 어려운 동작도 있었지만,

반복해서 연습하면서 점점 자신감 있게 춤을 추는 모습을 보여 주었어요!

신나는 K-POP 음악과 함께 몸을 움직이며 에너지를 가득 충전한 즐거운 시간이었습니다!

다음에는 또 어떤 재미있고 특별한 문화체험이 기다리고 있을까요~?

Today, we had a great time learning the K-POP choreography for RIIZE’s ‘Do Your Dance’!

Before learning the choreography, we started with some stretching to loosen up our bodies.

Now, shall we start learning the dance~?

We learned each move step by step while dancing along to the exciting music.

Some of the moves were unfamiliar and challenging at first, but after practicing them repeatedly, everyone became more confident and showed off their dance moves!

It was a fun and energetic time as we moved our bodies and recharged with exciting K-POP music!

What fun and special cultural experience will be waiting for us next~?

자개 공예는 조개 껍데기를 얇게 만들어 아름답게 표현하는 한국의 전통 예술이에요.

우리는 먼저 영상으로 자개를 만드는 과정을 봤어요.
시간과 정성이 정말 많이 들어가서 깜짝 놀랐어요! 😲

그리고 나만의 그립톡 디자인을 스케치해 봤어요.

스케치를 한 후에는 자개를 작게 잘라 그립톡에 붙였어요!

집중해서 한 땀 한 땀 자개를 붙이는 학생들의 모습이에요. 😊

그립톡을 다 만들고, 각자의 디자인과 의미를 담은 자개 그립톡을 친구들에게 소개했어요!

During our cultural experience session this Friday, we made mother-of-pearl PopSocket!
Mother-of-pearl craft is a traditional Korean art that uses thin pieces of seashell to create beautiful, shimmering designs.

First, we watched a video showing how mother-of-pearl is made and crafted.
We were amazed by how much time, patience, and care goes into the process! 😲

Then, we sketched our own designs for our phone grips.

After finishing our sketches, we cut the mother-of-pearl into small pieces and carefully attached them to our phone grips.
Here are our students concentrating as they carefully placed each tiny piece one by one. 😊

Once everyone had finished, we introduced our mother-of-pearl grip toks to our classmates and shared the ideas and meanings behind our designs!

Aren’t they beautifully shiny and sparkling?

이번 잡클럽의 주인공은 한국 취업이라는 당찬 도전장을 내민 두 명의 신입 준비생이었습니다. 처음엔 낯선 언어와 취업이라는 벽 앞에 살짝 긴장한 표정이었지만, 시간이 지날수록 눈빛은 호기심과 열정으로 가득 차올랐는데요. 열기로 가득했던 그 현장을 전해드립니다.

제일 먼저 다양한 한국의 채용 포털 사이트를 함께 둘러보며 현재 시장 흐름을 파악했습니다. 내가 원하는 직무에서 외국인 채용이 얼마나 이루어지는지 직접 확인해 보며, 막연했던 한국 취업의 실체를 눈으로 확인하는 첫걸음을 뗐습니다.

그 다음으로는 한국식 이력서와 자기소개서 작성법은 물론, 요즘 필수인 ‘AI 똑똑하게 활용하기’ 꿀팁을 나누었습니다. 자신의 소중한 경험을 한층 자연스러운 한국어 문장으로 다듬고, 기업이 탐낼 만한 키워드를 쏙쏙 뽑아내는 기술을 배우며 학생들의 만족도도 뿜뿜!

서류 전형에 합격했다면 이제 면접을 준비해야겠죠! 한국 회사의 취직 인터뷰에서 자주 나오는 질문들을 분석하며 “이 질문을 왜 할까?”라는 면접관의 숨은 의도를 파악했습니다. 본국의 경험을 매력적으로 어필하는 법부터, 부족한 경력을 열정과 잠재력으로 채우는 맞춤형 답변 구조까지 다지며 면접에 대한 막연한 두려움을 확실한 자신감으로 바꾸었습니다.

시작의 떨림을 확신으로 바꿔간 두 학생에게 박수를 보냅니다. 여러분의 꿈이 한국에서 멋지게 펼쳐질 수 있도록, 잡클럽은 늘 여러분 곁에서 가장 든든한 조력자로 함께하겠습니다.

Hello, everyone. Job Club, which takes place on the first week of every month, opened its doors once again this month.

The students of this month’s Job Club were two entry-level job seekers who boldly took on the challenge of finding a job in Korea. At first, they looked a bit nervous facing an unfamiliar language and the daunting wall of employment, but as time went on, their eyes filled with curiosity and passion. Here is a glimpse into our vibrant session!

First, we explored various Korean job portals together to get a feel for the current market trends. By checking for themselves how many job opportunities for foreigners exist in their fields of interest, they took their very first step toward turning the vague idea of working in Korea into a clear reality.

Next, we covered standard Korean-style résumés and cover letters, along with essential modern tips on “How to Use AI Smartly.” Students learned how to refine their precious experiences into natural-sounding Korean sentences and extract key phrases that employers love—sending satisfaction levels through the roof!

Once you pass the document screening, it’s time to prep for the interview! We analyzed frequently asked questions in Korean job interviews to uncover the hidden motives behind them—asking, “Why are interviewers asking this question?” From how to appealingly present experiences from back home to building tailored answer structures that fill in experience gaps with passion and potential, the students successfully turned their vague fear of interviews into solid confidence.

안녕하세요. 오늘은 K-Pop Dance 체험을 다녀왔어요. 오늘 체험해 볼 노래 제목은 요즘 소셜 미디어에서 자주 볼 수 있는 유명한 춤, Ateez의 Bad예요. 모두가 들뜬 마음으로 스튜디오에 들어갔어요. 반갑게 저희를 맞아주시는 댄스 선생님의 안내에 따라 들어가서 먼저 스트레칭으로 몸을 풀어줬어요.

동작이 너무 빠르고 어려운 곡이어서 선생님께서 한 동작 한 동작 학생들이 잘 따라올 수 있도록 천천히 친절하게 설명해 주셨어요.

느린 속도 음악으로 동작을 익히는 학생들이에요.

이렇게 하나씩 동작을 익힌 후 계속 반복 연습을 했어요.

A팀과 B팀으로 나누어 각 팀 별로 춤을 춰 보았어요. 팀으로 춤을 출 때에는 각자의 휴대폰을 앞에 두고 자신의 모습을 볼 수 있도록 비디오 녹화도 했어요.

오랜 연습 끝에 노래 원래의 속도에 맞춰 익힌 곡을 춰 보았어요.

Hello, everyone! Today, we went to a K-Pop dance workshop. The song we tried out today was Ateez’s “Bad”—a super popular dance you’ve probably seen all over social media lately. Everyone walked into the studio full of excitement. Guided by our dance instructor who greeted us warmly, we headed inside and started by stretching to warm up.

Since the choreography is so fast and difficult, the instructor kindly explained each move step-by-step at a slow pace so everyone could follow along. Here are the students getting the moves down to a slowed-down version of the music! After learning the choreography piece by piece, we kept practicing it over and over.

We then split into Team A and Team B to perform in groups. While dancing with our teams, we set up our phones in front of us to record videos so we could watch ourselves. After a long practice session, we finally danced to the song at its original speed. What do you think? Don’t we look pretty much like K-Pop idols?

To wrap things up, we struck a cool pose with our instructor and snapped a group photo!

외국인 학생들과 한국인 학생들이 함께 모여 스튜던트 나잇을 했어요.

이 모임은 매달 마지막 주 금요일에 열리고, 격달로 삼겹살과 치킨을 메뉴로 정해요.
이번 달은 삼겹살과 소주를 곁들여 즐겁게 식사를 했어요.

다 같이 모여 맛있는 음식을 먹으며 자연스럽게 대화를 나눴어요.
스튜던트 나잇은 언어 교환을 위해 만들어진 프로그램이에요.

한국인 학생들은 영어를 연습하고 외국인 학생들은 한국어를 연습해요.
서로의 문화를 공유하면서 더 가까워질 수 있는 시간이 되었어요.

특히 음식과 언어가 함께 어우러지니 분위기가 더욱 활기찼어요.
짧은 시간이었지만 모두에게 의미 있는 경험이 되었어요.
앞으로도 스튜던트 나잇을 통해 더 많은 교류와 배움이 이어지길 기대해요.

Foreign and Korean students gathered together for a Student Night.
This gathering takes place on the last Friday of every month, with the menu alternating between samgyeopsal and chicken.
This month, we enjoyed samgyeopsal with soju.
Everyone sat together, shared delicious food, and had natural conversations.
Student Night is a program created for language exchange.
Korean students practice English, while foreign students practice Korean.
It became a meaningful time to share each other’s cultures and grow closer.
The mix of food and language made the atmosphere even more lively.
Although the time was short, it was a valuable experience for everyone.
I look forward to more Student Nights that bring learning and exchange together.
