안녕하세요!

오늘은 서울을 한눈에 내려다볼 수 있는 특별한 장소, 서울스카이 문화체험을 다녀왔어요.

서울스카이는 롯데월드타워의 전망대로, 대한민국에서 가장 높은 전망대 중 하나입니다. 높은 곳에서 서울의 아름다운 풍경을 감상할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 서울의 현재와 과거를 다양한 전시와 함께 살펴볼 수 있는 특별한 공간이랍니다.

전망대로 올라가는 초고속 엘리베이터를 타는 순간부터 설렘이 가득했어요. 빠르게 높아지는 층수를 보며 모두 기대에 찬 표정을 감추지 못했습니다.

전망대에 도착하자 넓게 펼쳐진 서울의 풍경이 눈앞에 펼쳐졌어요. 맑은 날씨 덕분에 멀리까지 시야가 트여 한강과 도심, 그리고 서울 곳곳의 모습을 선명하게 감상할 수 있었습니다.

서울의 대표적인 랜드마크를 하나씩 찾아보며 어디가 어디인지 이야기하는 시간도 가졌어요. 높은 곳에서 바라보는 서울은 평소와는 또 다른 매력을 느끼게 해 주었습니다.

서울스카이의 명소인 유리바닥 스카이데크에도 올라가 보았어요. 발아래로 펼쳐지는 풍경을 바라보며 처음에는 조금 긴장하기도 했지만, 용기를 내어 직접 걸어 보며 특별한 경험을 즐겼습니다.

높은 하늘에서 바라본 서울의 풍경은 모두에게 오래 기억될 소중한 추억이 되었습니다. 곳곳을 둘러보며 서울의 아름다움을 다시 한번 느낄 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었어요.

오늘의 문화체험은 서울을 새로운 시각에서 바라보고 한국의 현대적인 모습을 가까이에서 경험할 수 있었던 특별한 시간이었습니다.

Experience Seoul from Above – Seoul Sky Cultural Experience

Hello everyone!

Today, we visited Seoul Sky, one of the most spectacular observation decks in Korea.

Located inside Lotte World Tower, Seoul Sky is one of the highest observation decks in the country. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of Seoul while also introducing visitors to the city’s history and development through a variety of exhibitions.

The excitement began the moment we stepped into the high-speed elevator. Watching the floor numbers rise so quickly made everyone even more excited about reaching the top.

When we arrived at the observation deck, an incredible view of Seoul unfolded before us. Thanks to the clear weather, we could see the Han River, the city’s skyline, and many famous landmarks stretching far into the distance.

We spent time identifying well-known places around Seoul and enjoyed seeing the city from a completely different perspective. Looking down from above gave us a new appreciation for just how large and beautiful Seoul is.

There were also several wonderful photo spots throughout the observation deck, making it the perfect place to capture unforgettable memories with the stunning cityscape in the background.

One of the highlights of the visit was walking across the famous glass-floored Sky Deck. Although it felt a little nerve-racking at first, everyone gathered their courage and enjoyed this unique experience.

The breathtaking scenery from above created memories that will last for a long time. It was a meaningful opportunity to discover another side of Seoul and experience Korea’s modern cityscape from an unforgettable viewpoint.

Today’s cultural experience allowed us to appreciate Seoul from an entirely new perspective. If you ever visit Korea, we highly recommend stopping by Seoul Sky to enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city.

Buchaechum – 부채춤

오늘은 한국의 아름다운 전통문화를 직접 체험할 수 있는 부채춤 문화체험을 다녀왔어요.

부채춤은 화려한 색감의 부채를 이용해 자연의 아름다움을 표현하는 한국의 대표적인 전통춤입니다. 여러 사람이 함께 호흡을 맞춰 다양한 모양을 만들어 내는 것이 특징으로, 우아한 동작 속에서도 팀워크가 중요한 춤이랍니다.

체험이 시작되자 각자 부채를 들고 기본 자세와 손동작부터 차근차근 배워 보았어요. 처음에는 부채를 펼치고 접는 것조차 조금 낯설었지만, 하나씩 동작을 익혀 가며 금세 적응하는 모습이 인상적이었습니다.

기본 동작에 익숙해진 뒤에는 음악에 맞춰 조금 더 긴 동작들을 연습해 보았어요. 부채를 펼치는 타이밍과 팔의 높이, 시선까지 신경 써야 해서 생각보다 쉽지 않았지만, 모두 집중하며 열심히 따라 했답니다.

연습을 거듭할수록 움직임은 더욱 자연스러워지고 표정에도 자신감이 생기기 시작했어요. 처음보다 훨씬 여유롭게 동작을 이어 가는 모습에서 짧은 시간 동안 얼마나 많이 성장했는지 느낄 수 있었습니다.

부채를 펼칠 때마다 알록달록한 색이 어우러져 연습실 분위기도 한층 화사해졌어요. 서로의 동작을 맞춰 보며 웃음이 끊이지 않았고, 함께 하나의 춤을 완성해 가는 시간이 더욱 즐겁게 느껴졌습니다.

드디어 가장 기다리던 하이라이트!

부채춤의 대표적인 장면인 부채로 꽃 모양 만들기에 도전했습니다. 여러 사람이 동시에 호흡을 맞춰야 하는 동작이라 처음에는 조금 어려웠지만, 끝까지 집중하며 연습한 덕분에 아름다운 꽃 모양을 완성하는 데 성공했어요. 완성된 모습을 보며 모두 감탄했답니다.

처음에는 낯설었던 부채춤이었지만, 연습할수록 점점 자신감을 얻고 동작도 자연스러워지는 모습이 정말 인상적이었습니다. 새로운 한국 전통문화를 직접 배우고 함께 완성해 가는 과정 자체가 소중한 추억으로 남았습니다.

오늘의 문화체험은 단순히 춤을 배우는 시간을 넘어 한국 전통문화의 아름다움과 협동의 즐거움을 함께 느낄 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

Today, we had the opportunity to experience one of Korea’s most beautiful traditional dances—the Korean Fan Dance (Buchaechum).

Buchaechum is a traditional Korean dance that uses colorful fans to create elegant movements and beautiful formations. It is not only graceful but also requires teamwork, making it a unique and memorable cultural experience.

As the class began, everyone picked up a fan and started learning the basic hand movements and posture. At first, opening and closing the fans felt a little unfamiliar, but with each step, everyone quickly became more comfortable and confident.

Once the basics were mastered, we practiced longer dance sequences with music. Coordinating the timing of the fans, arm movements, and eye contact was more challenging than it looked, but everyone stayed focused and enthusiastically followed along.

With every round of practice, the movements became smoother and more natural. It was wonderful to see everyone’s confidence grow as they became more comfortable performing the dance.

The colorful fans made every movement even more beautiful, and the room was filled with smiles as everyone worked together and enjoyed the experience.

Finally, it was time for the highlight of the day—the famous flower formation created with the fans. Although it required careful teamwork and precise timing, everyone worked together successfully and completed the beautiful flower shape. Seeing the finished formation brought big smiles and a real sense of accomplishment.

Watching everyone’s confidence grow throughout the activity made today’s experience even more meaningful. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about Korean traditional culture through practice, cooperation, and creativity.

Today’s cultural experience was much more than simply learning a dance. It was a special opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Korean tradition while creating unforgettable memories together.

[JOB CLUB] 잡클럽

안녕하세요? 오늘은 한국에서 일을 하고 싶어하는 학생들을 위한 잡클럽(Job Club) 액티비티가 진행되었습니다. 잡클럽은 한국에서 취업하고자 하는 학생들에게 취업 과정에 필요한 여러 과업들을 한국어로 연습하고 준비해 볼 수 있도록 도와주는 액티비티예요.

오늘은 두 명의 학생이 참석했는데요, 1교시에는 외국인 채용 사이트인 코워크, 워크온, 서울스타트 등에서 원하는 일자리를 서치하는 방법과 이력서 업로드 하는 방법을 배웠습니다.

2교시에는 한국어로 직접 이력서와 자기소개서를 써보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 자신의 강점과 약점, 과거의 경험과 경력을 어떻게 하면 간결하면서도 임팩트 있게 잘 쓸 수 있을지 같이 의논도 하고 면접 시 질문할 만한 예상 질문들에 대해 직접 대답해보는 연습도 해보았습니다. 한국어로 이력서와 자기소개서를 작정하고 면접 준비를 하는 것이 처음이어서 조금 어렵겠지만 잡클럽과 함께 차근차근 준비한다면 꼭 취업에 성공할 수 있을 거에요!

한국에서 취업을 원하는 학생들에게 조금이라도 도움이 되길 바라면서 잡 클럽(Job Club)은 또 다음 달에도 기다리고 있겠습니다~!

Hello! Today, we held a Job Club program for students who want to work in Korea. Job Club is a program where students hoping to work in Korea can practice and prepare the skills they need for the job-seeking process, all in Korean.

We had two students attend today. During the first part, the students learned how to sign up for the job portal sites for foreigners like Kowork, workon, and Seoulstart, and how to upload a resume. The students also explored various job postings in their desired field to see real opportunities available in the market.

In the second part, we focused on writing resumes and cover letters in Korean. Together, we discussed how to express strengths, weaknesses, and past experiences clearly and effectively. The students also practiced answering potential interview questions in Korean.

It may feel a bit challenging at first to prepare resumes, cover letters, and interviews in Korean—but with steady effort through the Job Club, success in getting a job in Korea will definitely come!

Our Job Club will continue next month, too.

We hope it keeps helping students take one step closer to their dreams of working in Korea!

KPOP DANCE-ILLIT-IT’S ME

안녕하세요! 오늘은 K-POP 댄스 체험을 하고 왔어요! 전문 강사와 함께 아일릿(ILLIT)의 ‘It’s Me’ 안무를 배워 보았어요. 

처음에는 조금 어려웠지만, 함께 연습하며 점점 자신감이 생겼답니다. 

신나게 춤을 추고 K-POP 문화를 직접 체험하며 즐겁고 특별한 시간을 보냈어요!

Hello! Today, we joined a K-pop dance class! We learned the choreography to ILLIT’s “It’s Me” with a professional instructor. It was a little challenging at first, but we became more confident as we practiced together. Dancing and experiencing K-pop culture firsthand made it a fun and memorable experience!

COEX Starfield-별마당도서관

안녕하세요! 오늘은 코엑스 별마당 도서관에 다녀왔어요.

첫 번째로, 케이팝 스타 핸드 프린트 전시 구역에 갔어요. 좋아하는 스타들의 손 모양을 직접 보고 사진도 찍으며 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요. 다양한 스타들의 핸드 프린트를 보면서 한국의 케이팝 문화를 더 가까이 느낄 수 있었어요!

다음으로 강남 스타일 동상 구역에 갔어요. 동상 앞에서 재미있는 포즈로 사진도 찍고 즐거운 추억을 만들었어요. 노래와 함께 한국의 대표적인 문화를 경험할 수 있는 시간이었어요!

마지막으로 코엑스 지하와 별마당 도서관을 둘러봤어요. 별마당 도서관에서는 다양한 책을 구경하고 멋진 공간에서 사진도 찍었어요.

오늘도 함께 즐겁고 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다! 😊

First, we visited the K-pop Star Handprint Zone. We had a great time looking at the handprints of our favorite K-pop stars and taking photos. It was a fun way to experience Korean K-pop culture up close!

Next, we stopped by the Gangnam Style Statue. We struck fun poses in front of the statue and took lots of pictures together. It was a great opportunity to experience one of Korea’s most iconic cultural landmarks.

Finally, we explored the COEX Underground Mall and Starfield Library. We looked around the library, browsed a variety of books, and took photos in the beautiful space. It was another enjoyable and memorable day together! 😊

WAR MEMORIAL OF KOREA–전쟁기념관

안녕하세요~

오늘은 학생들과 전쟁기념관에 다녀왔습니다. 전쟁기념관은 한국에서 일어난 전쟁의 아픈 역사를 추모하고 평화를 기원하는 곳이에요. 버스에서 내려 정문에 들어서자마자 제일 먼저 웅장한 6.25 전쟁기념탑이 우리를 맞이해주었습니다.

먼저 옥외 전시장을 둘러보고 우리는 박물관 안으로 들어갔습니다. 박물관 내부에는 6.25 전쟁실, 전쟁역사실, 대형무기실 등 테마별로 다양한 전시 공간이 있었는데 전시된 무기, 군복, 영상 등을 통해 한국전쟁과 군사 역사에 대해 쉽게 배울 수 있었어요.

6.25 전쟁실은 6.25전쟁의 발발 배경과 전쟁의 과정을 시간의 순서대로 잘 보여주고 있어 한국전쟁에 대해 쉽게 이해할 수 있었습니다.   다음으로 둘러본 전쟁역사실은 선사 시대부터 현대까지 한국의 전쟁 역사를 볼 수 있는 곳이었습니다. 임진왜란때 이순신 장군이 사용했던 거북선 앞에서 기념 촬영도 했답니다.

호국추모실이 리노베이션 중이어서 관람을 못 한 것이 조금 아쉬웠지만 한국 사람들이 겪은 전쟁과 평화를 위한 노력을 느낄 수 있었던 소중한 시간이었습니다.

Today, We visited the War Memorial of Korea.

The War Memorial of Korea is a place where visitors can learn about the painful history of wars on the Korean Peninsula, honor those who sacrificed their lives, and reflect on the importance of peace.

As soon as we entered through the main gate, we were greeted by the magnificent Korean War Memorial Monument.

We first explored the outdoor exhibition area before heading inside the museum. The museum is divided into several themed exhibition halls and through real military equipment, uniforms, and multimedia displays, we were able to learn about the Korean War and Korea’s military history.

The Korean War Exhibition Hall was especially informative. It presents the background of the Korean War, how it began, and how it unfolded in chronological order. Next, we visited the War History Exhibition Hall, where we explored Korea’s military history from prehistoric times to the present day. One of the highlights was taking a commemorative photo in front of the famous ‘Turtle Ship’, which was used by Admiral Yi Sun-sin during the Imjin War.

Unfortunately, the Patriots Memorial Hall was under renovation, so we couldn’t visit it. Even so, the trip gave us a valuable opportunity to better understand the hardships the Korean people have endured through war and their continued efforts to preserve peace.

If you’re interested in Korean history or the Korean War, I highly recommend visiting the War Memorial of Korea. It’s more than just a museum—it’s a meaningful place where you can learn about history while reflecting on the value of peace.

Traditional Korean Games – 전통놀이

안녕하세요. 오늘은 한국의 전통놀이인 제기차기, 공기놀이, 윷놀이, 구슬치기를 해 보았어요.

먼저 제기차기는 팀을 나누어 시합을 했어요. 서로 응원하면서 즐겁게 경쟁할 수 있어서 가장 재미있었던 활동이었어요.

공기놀이는 작은 공깃돌을 이용해 손으로 던지고 받으며 하는 놀이예요. 처음에는 조금 어려웠지만 연습할수록 재미있었어요.

윷놀이는 팀 안에서 자유롭게 즐겼어요. 윷을 던져 나온 결과에 따라 말을 움직이며 게임을 했어요.

구슬치기도 팀원들끼리 함께 했어요. 구슬을 굴리거나 맞히면서 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요.

오늘 다양한 한국의 전통놀이를 직접 체험할 수 있어서 재미있었고, 친구들과 함께해서 더욱 즐거운 시간이었어요.

Hello! Today, I got to experience traditional Korean games such as Jegichagi, Gonggi, Yutnori, and Marble Games.

First, we played Jegichagi as a team competition. We cheered for each other and had fun competing, so it was my favorite activity.

Next, we played Gonggi, a game where you throw and catch small stones with one hand. It was a little difficult at first, but it became more fun as I practiced.

For Yutnori, each team played on their own. We threw the Yut sticks and moved our pieces according to the results.

We also played Marble Games with our teammates. We had fun rolling and hitting the marbles together.

It was a great experience to try different traditional Korean games, and I enjoyed spending time with my classmates.

HiKR Ground – 하이커 그라운드

안녕하세요! 오늘은 청계천 근처에 있는 하이커 그라운드에 다녀왔어요.

아름다운 청계천을 보면서 건너 가면 하이커 그라운드에 도착해요!

1층에서는 대형 미디어 월을 통해 다채로운 이미지를 볼 수 있어요. 2층은 K-pop Ground로 한국 가수들처럼 뮤직비디오를 찍어볼 수도 있어요. 3층은 HiKR Artrium이에요. 한국의 대표 아티스트들의 전시들을 볼 수 있어요! 4층에서는 한국의 다양한 지역들을 만나볼 수 있어요. 마지막 5층은 안내 센터가 있고, 청계천을 보면서 쉴 수 있어요.

처음에 우리는 한국의 가수들처럼 뮤직비디오를 찍어봤어요. 화면에 나오는 나의 모습을 보며 멋있는 춤도 췄어요!

그 다음으로 미디어 월에 있는 뒷배경화면을 바꿔서 달에 가보기도 하고, 우주에 가보기도 했어요! 🙂

하이커 그라운드에는 사진을 찍을 수 있는 다양한 소품들도 있어서 멋진 선글라스, 한국의 전통 갓을 쓰고 사진을 많이 찍었어요.

한국 편의점이랑 비슷하게 꾸며놓은 장소도 있었어요~! 손님과 점원이 되어보는 시간이었습니다~ 🙂

DJ가 되어볼 수 있는 DJ 부스도 있어서 멋진 포즈를 취해봤어요! 어떤가요? 🙂

그 다음 우리는 윗층으로 올라가서 한국 작가들의 멋진 서예 작품들을 감상했어요.

직접 연필로 한국어를 쓸 수 있는 곳이 있어서 다같이 한국어도 써 봤어요!

이렇게 하이커 그라운드에서 다양하고 재미있는 체험들을 하고 마지막으로 청계천을 배경으로 사진도 찍었습니다~ 🙂 정말 재미있었어요!

Hello! Today, We visited HiKR Ground, which is located near Cheonggyecheon. If you cross while enjoying the beautiful Cheonggyecheon, you will arrive at HiKR Ground!

On the first floor, you can enjoy a variety of colorful images on a huge media wall.
The second floor is called K-pop Ground, where you can film your own music video like K-pop stars.
The third floor is HiKR Artrium, where you can see exhibitions by some of Korean artists.
On the fourth floor, you can explore different regions of Korea.
Finally, on the fifth floor, there is an information center where you can relax while enjoying the view of Cheonggyecheon.

First, we tried filming a music video like Korean singers. Watching myself on the screen, I even showed off some cool dance moves!

Next, we changed the background on the media wall and experienced going to the moon and even outer space! 🙂

At HiKR Ground, there were many fun props for taking pictures, so I wore stylish sunglasses and a traditional Korean hat and took lots of photos. There was also a space decorated like a Korean convenience store, so we got to act as customers and store clerks. It was a fun experience~ 🙂

There was also a DJ booth where we could pretend to be DJs, so We made some cool poses! What do you think? 🙂

After that, we went upstairs and admired beautiful calligraphy works by Korean artists. There was also a place where we could write Korean with pencils, so we all tried writing Korean together.

After enjoying all these fun and diverse experiences at HiKR Ground, we took some photos with Cheonggyecheon in the background. It was such a fun and memorable time!

KPOP DANCE – CORTIS – REDRED

안녕하세요! 😊

지난 금요일에는 CORTIS(코르티스)의 「REDRED」 안무를 배우는 시간을 가졌습니다!

본격적으로 춤을 배우기 전에, 부상을 예방하기 위해 먼저 스트레칭으로 몸을 충분히 풀어주었어요.

준비를 마친 후에는 선생님의 시범을 보며 동작을 하나씩 따라 해 보았습니다.
처음에는 조금 어려운 부분도 있었지만, 단계별로 차근차근 연습하며 안무를 익혀 나갔습니다.

그리고 이어진 특훈 시간! 🔥

신나는 노래에 맞춰 모두가 즐겁게 춤을 추었고, 학생들도 적극적으로 참여해 수업 분위기가 더욱 활기찼습니다.
덕분에 웃음이 끊이지 않는 즐거운 시간이 되었답니다!

수업을 마친 후에는 선생님과 함께 단체 사진도 찍으며 소중한 추억을 남겼습니다. 📸

Last Friday, we had the chance to learn the choreography for “REDRED” by CORTIS!

Before starting the dance lesson, we began with some stretching to warm up our bodies and prevent injuries.

Once we were ready, we followed the instructor step by step and learned the choreography together. Some moves were a bit challenging at first, but everyone practiced carefully and gradually became more confident.

Then came our special training session! 🔥

The song was energetic and exciting, and all the students participated enthusiastically. Their positive energy made the class atmosphere even more lively and enjoyable.

At the end of the lesson, we took a group photo with the instructor to capture the memories of the day. 📸
