안녕하세요!
이번 주에는 케이팝 댄스 수업을 들었어요.

전날 서울에 내린 첫눈 덕분에 더욱 설레는 마음으로 수업에 갔어요.☃️
이번 시간에는 ‘Cortis’의 ‘GO!’ 춤을 배웠어요.

먼저 춤을 배우기 전에 스트레칭을 해 줬어요.

이제 노래에 맞추어 안무를 배워요!
Cortis의 GO!는 쉬지 않고 앞으로 달려 나가겠다는 노래예요.
그래서 노래가 빠르고 안무가 조금 어려웠지만, 선생님이 잘 알려주셨어요!

열심히 안무를 배우는 친구들의 모습을 볼까요?

처음에는 느린 속도의 노래에 맞춰 춤을 배웠어요. 동작을 계속 반복하면서 연습했어요!
그리고 마지막으로 원래 속도에 맞춰서 해 보았어요!

그리고 선생님과 다같이 멋진 영상도 찍었어요!

추운 겨울이었지만 땀까지 흘리며 열심히 케이팝 댄스를 배웠어요.
정말 즐겁고 신나는 시간이었어요!

열심히 가르쳐 주신 선생님과 함께 단체사진으로 마무리했어요 🙂

This week, we took a K-pop dance class.

Because it had snowed in Seoul the day before—the first snow of the season—we went to the class feeling even more excited. ☃️
In this session, we learned the choreography for “GO!” by Cortis.

Before learning the dance, we started with stretching.
Now it’s time to learn the choreography to the music!
“GO!”by Cortis is a song about running forward without stopping.
So the song is fast and the choreography was a bit difficult, but the teacher explained it really well!

Shall we take a look at everyone practicing hard?
At first, we practiced the dance slowly with a slower version of the music.
We repeated the moves over and over while practicing!
And at the end, we tried it at the original speed!
We even filmed a cool video together with the teacher!

Even though it was a cold winter day, we worked hard and even broke a sweat learning K-pop dance.
It was truly a joyful and exciting time!

We finished the class by taking a group photo with our wonderful teacher 🙂

안녕하세요? 오늘은 한국에서 일을 하고 싶어하는 학생들을 위한 잡클럽(Job Club) 수업이 진행되었습니다.

잡클럽은 한국에서 취업하고자 하는 학생들에게 취업 과정에 필요한 여러 과업들을 한국어로 연습하고 준비해 볼 수 있도록 도와주는 수업이에요.

오늘은 폴란드에서 온 학생 한 명이 참석했는데요,

한국어를 공부하고 폴란드로 돌아가서 한국 회사에 취업하기 위해 준비하고 있다고 해요. 취업하고 싶은 회사가 정해져 있기에 좀더 구체적이고 현실적으로 면접 준비 하는 것을 도와줄 수 있었습니다.

1교시에는 한국 취업 포탈 사이트인 잡코리아, 사람인, 알바몬 등에 직접 가입해보고 이력서 업로드 하는 방법을 배웠습니다. 또한 학생이 관심있는 분야를 직접 검색해봄으로써 한국에서 실제로 지원 가능한 채용 공고도 찾아보았습니다.

2교시에는 한국어로 직접 이력서와 자기소개서를 써보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 자신의 강점과 약점, 과거의 경험과 경력을 어떻게 하면 간결하면서도 임팩트 있게 잘 쓸 수 있을지 같이 의논도 하고 면접 시 질문할 만한 예상 질문들에 대해 직접 대답해보는 연습도 해보았습니다.

한국어로 이력서와 자기소개서를 작정하고 면접 준비를 하는 것이 처음이어서 조금 어렵겠지만 잡클럽과 함께 차근차근 준비한다면 꼭 취업에 성공할 수 있을 거에요!

한국에서 취업을 원하는 학생들에게 조금이라도 도움이 되길 바라면서 잡 클럽(Job Club)은 또 다음 달에도 기다리고 있겠습니다~!

Hello! Today, we held a Job Club class for students who want to work in Korea. Job Club is a class where students hoping to work in Korea can practice and prepare the skills they need for the job-seeking process, all in Korean.

We had one student from Poland attend today. She is studying Korean and preparing to get a job at a Korean company after she returns to Poland. Since she already has a specific company she wants to work for, we were able to help her prepare for the interview in a more concrete and realistic way.

During the first part, the students learned how to sign up for major Korean job portal sites like JobKorea, Saramin, and Albamon, and how to upload a resume. The students also explored various job postings in their desired field to see real opportunities available in the market.

In the second part, we focused on writing resumes and cover letters in Korean. Together, we discussed how to express strengths, weaknesses, and past experiences clearly and effectively. The students also practiced answering potential interview questions in Korean.

It may feel a bit challenging at first to prepare resumes, cover letters, and interviews in Korean—but with steady effort through the Job Club, success in getting a job in Korea will definitely come!

Our Job Club will continue next month, too.

We hope it keeps helping students take one step closer to their dreams of working in Korea!

안녕하세요, 21일 금요일에 문화 수업으로 서예 체험했습니다!

전통 ‘서예’와 ‘캘리그라피’의 차이점을 배운 후에 다 함께 선생님의 시연을 봤습니다.

서예 ‘판본체’와 ‘궁서체’는 많은 차이가 있다는 것을 알았고, 획순에 따라 글씨를 써야 한다는 것을 배웠습니다. 또한 캘리그라피는 더 자유롭게 글씨를 쓴다는 것을 배웠습니다.

이제 선부터 긴 글까지 연습할 차례입니다!

다양한 서체로 한지에 연습한 후에 단어, 긴 글 연습을 했습니다.

한지에 연습한 후에 ‘나의 서체’로 족자에 좋아하는 글귀, 단어 등을 자유롭게 쓰고 꾸미는 시간을 가졌습니다!

이렇게 서예 수업을 들으면서 마음을 정돈하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

이번주에는 경복궁에 다녀왔어요.
날씨가 따뜻하고 맑아서 기분 좋게 경복궁 견학을 시작합니다.

광화문을 지나 경복궁으로 들어서면 오른쪽에 관광객을 위한 안내센터가 있어요.
요즘은 환경보호를 위해 종이 지도를 제공하지 않는다고 해서 안내센터의 QR코드를 이용해서 스마트폰에 지도를 다운 받았어요.
그럼 본격적으로 경복궁 견학 시작!

서울의 상징 ‘해태’가 조각된 다리를 건너서 경복궁의 정전인 ‘근정전’을 둘러 봅니다.
근정전의 삼도와 품계석에 대한 선생님의 설명을 열심히 듣는 학생들.

경복궁의 아름다운 모습을 기억하기 위해 사진도 열심히 찍어 봅니다.

근정전에 이어 왕의 집무실인 사정전, 왕과 왕비의 침실인 강녕전과 교태전도 가 봤어요.
각 건물이 그 쓰임에 따라 각자 다른 모습과 분위기를 가진 것이 아주 흥미로웠답니다.

다음에 찾은 곳은 경회루. 경복궁에 왔다면 이곳에서 꼭 사진을 찍어야 해요.
구름 한 점 없이 파란 하늘과 연못에 비친 경회루와 소나무의 모습이 그림 같았어요.

교실에서 간단하게 오늘 배울 노래의 뮤직비디오와 가사를 배운 후에

본격적인 수업에 들어갔어요.

After a quick lesson in the classroom where we watched the music video and learned the lyrics of today’s song, we headed straight to the dance studio!

음악에 맞춰 온 몸의 관절과 근육을 부드럽게 풀어 줬어요.

춤 동작이 격렬하니까 준비 운동은 필수겠죠?!!

We started by gently loosening up all the joints and muscles in our bodies to the music. Since the choreography is pretty intense, warm-up is an absolute must, right?!!

본격적인 춤 동작에 들어가니 학생들의 표정이 매우 밝아졌어요. 오랜만에 친구들과 춤을 같이 추니 많이 신난 모습이에요.

As soon as we jumped into the actual dance moves, the students’ faces lit up instantly. Dancing together with friends after such a long time – everyone was totally buzzing with excitement!

본격적으로 중요 파트를 열심히 연습했어요. 연습이 반복되면서 점점 더 어려운 동작도 익숙해졌어요.

We seriously practiced the key parts over and over, and with each repetition, even the trickier moves started feeling natural.

마지막은 멋진 포즈로 마무리를 했네요!!

케이팝 걸그룹 같은 느낌이 나네요!!

Finally, we struck a super cool ending pose!! It totally gave off major K-pop girl group vibes!!

오늘도 즐거운 케이팝 수업은 학생들의 함박 웃음과 함께 마무리가 되었네요!!

안녕하세요? 오늘은 한국에서 일을 하고 싶어하는 학생들에게 도움을 주기 위해 잡 클럽(Job Club)이 진행되었습니다. 워킹 홀리데이 등 한국에서 일을 찾고 있는 학생들에게 취업 과정에 필요한 여러 과업들을 한국어로 연습하고 준비해 볼 수 있는 뜻 깊은 시간이었어요.

오늘 수업에는 세 명의 학생이 참석했습니다. 한국에서 스페인어 강사로, 온라인 마케터로, 그리고 또 다른 학생은 엔터테인먼트 분야에 취업을 하고 싶다고 했어요. 1교시에는 잡코리아, 사람인, 알바몬 등 취업 포털사이트에 직접 가입해보고 이력서 업로드 하는 방법을 배웠습니다. 또한 학생들이 일하고 싶은 분야를 직접 검색해봄으로써 실제로 지원 가능한 채용 공고도 찾아보았습니다.

Today, Job Club session was held to support students who wish to start their careers in Korea.

It was a meaningful time for those who find jobs to practice and prepare for the job application process in Korean.

Today, three students joined the Job Club. One student wants to be a Spanish teacher, the other an on-line marketer and another student wants to work in the entertainment field. It turned out to be a very productive and personalized session.

During the first part, the students learned how to sign up for major Korean job portal sites like JobKorea, Saramin, and Albamon, and how to upload a resume. The students also explored various job postings in their desired field to see real opportunities available in the market.

안녕하세요! 이번 주 금요일 문화 체험 수업으로 N서울타워에 다녀왔어요.

알록달록하게 물든 남산을 구경하고, 서울의 전망을 보면서 자물쇠를 거는 시간을 가졌어요.

N서울타워에 가는 친구들의 모습이 밝아서 보기 좋아요.

남산 순환버스를 타고 도착해서 타워로 올라가는 길이에요. 정말 가파른 길이지만 친구들은 전혀 힘들어하지 않았어요.

N서울타워 앞에서 단체 사진을 찍었어요.

이름과 소원을 적은 자물쇠를 걸었어요.

자물쇠와 서울의 전망을 뒤로 사진도 찍었어요. 친구들의 행복한 얼굴을 보니까 마음이 따뜻해지는 거 같아요.

오후 3시에는 전통문화 공연이 있었어요. 사물놀이와 전통 무예 공연이었어요.

공연이 끝나고 기념사진도 찍었답니다.

우리는 N서울타워에서 도시와 자연의 가을을 만날 수 있었어요. 정말 즐거운 시간이었어요.

This Friday, we went to N Seoul Tower for our cultural experience class.
We enjoyed the colorful autumn scenery of Namsan and spent some time hanging love locks while looking at the view of Seoul.

We took the Namsan circular bus and walked up to the tower.
Even though the path was quite steep, none of them seemed tired at all.

We took a group photo in front of N Seoul Tower.
Then, we hung locks with our names and wishes.
We also took pictures with the locks and the beautiful view of Seoul.
Doesn’t it warm your heart to see friends’ happy faces?

At 3 p.m., there was a traditional cultural performance, featuring samulnori (a traditional percussion performance) and traditional martial arts.
Everyone really enjoyed watching the show, and we took some photos afterward as well.

We were able to experience the autumn of both the city and nature at N Seoul Tower.
It was truly a wonderful time.
You should also visit N Seoul Tower before autumn ends!

이번 주 금요일 문화 체험 수업에서는 반포 한강 공원으로 피크닉을 다녀왔어요.
소풍하기에 정말 좋은 날씨였어요! 우리는 산책을 하고, 자전거를 타고, 라면까지 먹으며 행복한 시간을 보냈어요.

This Friday, for our culture class, we went on a picnic to Banpo Hangang River Park.
It was such a perfect day for an outing! We took a walk, rode bicycles, and even enjoyed some ramyeon together — it was such a happy time.

9월의 마지막 주 금요일에 신나는 K-POP을 배우면서 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요.

간단한 몸풀기 후에 본격적으로 노래의 주요 안무들을 배우기 시작했어요.

Hey there! On the last Friday of September, Lexis had a blast learning some awesome K-POP moves.

After a quick warm-up, they dove right into mastering the main choreography of the song.

이 노래는 특히 손가락의 움직임이 중요해서 손가락을 이용한 댄스를 많이 배웠어요!

This song was all about those finger moves, so they learned a ton of dance steps using their fingers!

노래의 첫 부분에 조용히 하라는 의미로 입에 손가락을 대고 있는 포즈를 취하고 있어요.

At the start of the song, they strike a pose with a finger to their lips, signaling to hush.

신나는 음악에 맞춰 마지막으로 훌륭하게 배운 내용을 연습했어요.

렉시스의 K-POP DANCE 클래스는 언제나 그렇듯 즐거운 웃음소리와 기념 촬영으로 마무리 되었습니다!

안녕하세요? 오늘은 광장시장과 청계천에 다녀왔어요.

광장시장은 서울에서 가장 활기찬 전통 시장 중 하나로, 시장 골목을 따라 펼쳐진 다채로운 먹거리를 탐방하며, 한국의 전통 음식 문화를 체험할 수 있는 곳이에요.

우리는 버스를 타고 광장시장으로 이동했어요. 시장에 들어서자마자 수많은 맛집들과 먹거리가 펼쳐졌습니다. 시장 가운데에서 아주머니들이 지글지글 전을 부치고 계셨는데 광장시장은 두툼하면서도 바삭한 이 녹두빈대떡이 특히 유명해요. 또한 광장시장 하면 육회를 빼놓을 수 없답니다. 시장 안에 육회 골목이 따로 있을 정도로 육회가 정말 유명해요.

떡볶이, 순대 등 분식부터 육회, 마약김밥, 빈대떡, 매운탕 그리고 꽈배기, 호떡과 같은 다양한 디저트까지 정말 맛있는 음식들이 가득했어요.

배가 고팠던 우리도 식당에 들어가 떡볶이, 순대, 어묵, 육회, 녹두빈대떡을 먹었는데 정말 너무 너무 맛있었답니다.

광장시장에는 한복, 이불과 같은 혼수 용품과 한국 전통 기념품도 많이 있어요. 맛있는 음식을 먹고 나서 우리는 광장시장 2층에 있는 한복점들을 둘러보며 색색의 한복을 구경하였습니다.

광장시장을 가로질러 나오면 청계천을 마주하게 되는데 비가 조금 오긴 했지만 우리는 청계천 길을 걸으며 산책했어요.

🛍 The Lively Gwangjang Market

Gwangjang Market is one of the oldest and liveliest traditional market in Seoul. As you walk through the narrow alleyways lined with food stalls and shops, you can truly experience Korea’s rich culinary traditions and local culture.

We took a bus to get there, and the moment we stepped into the market, we were greeted by an explosion of delicious sights and smells.
Right in the center, several Korean women were busy frying up mung bean pancakes (nokdu bindaetteok) — a signature dish of the market, known for being thick, crispy, and incredibly tasty.

And of course, no trip to Gwangjang Market would be complete without trying their famous yukhoe (Korean-style raw beef). There’s even an entire alley dedicated to yukhoe restaurants — that’s how popular it is!

The variety of food was simply overwhelming (in the best way)!

We were starving, so we sat down at a restaurant and ordered a feast;
tteokbokki, sundae, fish cake soup, yukhoe, and mung bean pancakes.
And honestly, everything was absolutely delicious.

👘 Exploring Traditional Hanbok on the 2nd Floor

After our meal, we headed up to the second floor of the market, where many hanbok shops are located.
The displays of colorful traditional Korean clothing were stunning, and we also saw various traditional items like bedding sets and wedding gifts.

🌧 A Rainy Walk Along Cheonggyecheon

When you exit the market from one side, you’ll find yourself right in front of Cheonggyecheon Stream.
Although it was lightly raining, we decided to walk along the stream, and the gentle autumn drizzle actually made the atmosphere more peaceful and charming.

Walking beside the flowing water in the middle of the city really calms your mind — it was the perfect way to wrap up the day.

If you want to explore Korea’s traditional side and indulge in some amazing local food, Gwangjang Market is the place to be.
