오늘은 한국의 대표 무예, 태권도를 직접 배워보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 도장에서 도복을 입고 허리띠를 매자 학생들의 표정이 한층 진지해졌는데요, 본격적으로 시작 전에 몸풀기를 진행했습니다.
기본 동작부터 발차기, 그리고 간단한 품새까지 차근차근 배워보며 땀방울이 맺혔지만, 모두 끝까지 열심히 집중했습니다.
특히 힘찬 기합 소리와 함께 발차기를 할 때는 마치 진짜 태권도 선수가 된 것 같았답니다!
액티비티가 끝나고 학생들은 다음에 한국에 오면 또 태권도를 하고 싶다며 즐거워했던 만족도가 높은 시간이었습니다.
Today, we had the chance to experience Taekwondo, Korea’s most iconic martial art. As soon as the students put on their uniforms and tied their belts, their expressions turned serious and focused. Before diving into the main lesson, we warmed up together.
Step by step, we learned the basics—starting with simple stances, moving on to kicks, and even practicing a short poomsae (form). Everyone worked hard, and though sweat soon appeared, the students stayed focused until the very end. The highlight was definitely practicing the powerful kicks with a loud kihap (shout)—it truly felt like we had become real Taekwondo athletes!
By the end of the activity, the students said they’d love to try Taekwondo again the next time they visit Korea. It was a highly rewarding and memorable experience that left everyone smiling.
오늘은 한여름에 시원함을 만끽할 수 있는 롯데월드 아이스링크장을 다녀왔습니다. 처음 스케이트화를 신어본 우리들은 어색한 걸음으로 빙판 위에 올랐지만, 곧 서로 손을 잡고 균형을 잡으며 조금씩 앞으로 나아갔답니다.
넘어져도 금세 웃으며 다시 일어나는 모습에 우리들의 열정이 잘 보였답니다 🙂
몇몇 학생은 한여름에 아이스링크를 탈 수 있다는 사실을 신기해하면서 재미있게 즐겼답니다. 시원한 빙판 위에서 함께한 이 경험은 색다른 한국의 여름 추억이 되었답니다!
Today, we escaped the summer heat and enjoyed a refreshing visit to the Lotte World Ice Rink with our students. For many, it was their very first time putting on skates, and though their first steps on the ice were a little wobbly, they quickly held hands, found their balance, and started gliding forward little by little.
Even when they fell, the students laughed it off and stood right back up, showing great energy and enthusiasm 🙂. Some were especially amazed at the idea of ice skating in the middle of summer, making the experience even more exciting.
Skating together on the cool ice became a unique and memorable summer adventure—one that our students will always remember as part of their time in Korea!
오늘은 인사동에 위치한 다이나믹 메이즈 체험과 안녕 인사동에 방문했습니다! 먼저 실내 어드벤처 공간인 다이나믹 메이즈에서 팀별로 미션을 해결하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 미로처럼 연결된 공간을 통과하고, 몸을 써서 퍼즐을 푸는 활동으로 모두가 웃고 뛰어다녔답니다. 친구들과 즐기는 모습이 활기찼습니다 🙂
다이나믹 메이즈를 체험한 이후 안녕 인사동으로 이동해 복합문화공간을 자유롭게 둘러보았습니다.
전통과 현대가 어우러진 다양한 상점과 전시 공간이 이어져 있었고, 건물 곳곳의 아기자기한 인테리어와 전시물 앞에서 사진을 찍는 학생들이 많았습니다.
실내 광장을 오가며 한국적인 소품들을 구경하고, 예술 작품이 전시된 공간에서는 작품 가까이 다가가 세세하게 살펴보는 모습이 인상적이었습니다!
인사동에서 즐거운 체험과 구경, 쇼핑까지 많은 것을 할 수 있어 즐거웠던 활동이었습니다.
Today, we visited Dynamic Maze and Annyeong Insadong, both located in Insadong!
We started at Dynamic Maze, an indoor adventure space where students worked in teams to complete different missions. Running through maze-like passages, solving physical puzzles, and tackling challenges together had everyone laughing and moving nonstop. The lively teamwork and energy made the whole experience even more exciting. 🙂
Afterwards, we headed to Annyeong Insadong, a cultural complex that blends tradition with modern flair. Students explored freely, browsing through unique shops and exhibitions. Many stopped to take photos against the charming interiors and creative displays. Wandering through the indoor plaza, we discovered Korean-style goods, while the art exhibition spaces encouraged students to get up close and observe the details of each piece—an impressive sight to see.
From adventure and culture to shopping and art, our time in Insadong was full of fun and discovery. It was truly an enjoyable day filled with unforgettable experiences!
한국의 전통 생활문화와 한국의 역사를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 국립민속박물관을 방문했습니다. 전시관에 들어서자마자 학생들은 다양한 전통 의상, 생활 도구, 옛날 집 모형 등에 큰 관심을 보였습니다.
특히 한국인의 일상과 절기, 의례를 표현한 전시물 앞에서는 물건의 쓰임에 대한 질문도 하면서 신기해하는 모습이었습니다.
다른 전시 구역에서는 한옥 건물을 직접 보고 만져볼 수 있었는데, 마치 옛 시대로 들어간 듯한 경험이었답니다!
이번 견학을 통해 학생들은 책이나 사진으로만 보던 한국의 생활 문화를 더욱 생생하게 이해할 수 있었고, 한류의 역사와 성장과 같은 문화적인 지식도 알 수 있어 즐겁고, 유익한 시간이 되었습니다 🙂
We visited the National Folk Museum of Korea, a place where you can get a full view of Korea’s traditional lifestyle and history.
Right from the entrance, the students were fascinated by the displays of traditional clothing, everyday tools, and miniature models of old Korean houses. In front of the exhibits showcasing Korean daily life, seasonal customs, and traditional rituals, they asked lots of questions about how the items were used, showing genuine curiosity and excitement.
In another section, students had the chance to see and even touch a traditional hanok house. It felt as if we had stepped back in time, experiencing a glimpse of the past firsthand.
Through this visit, the students were able to gain a vivid understanding of Korean life and culture—something they had only seen in books or photos before. They also learned more about the history and development of Korean culture, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. 🙂
KBS 방송국을 견학하고 왔습니다! 평소 한국 드라마와 예능 프로그램에 관심이 많았던 우리들에게는 정말 설레는 시간이었습니다.먼저 방송국 로비에 들어서자 다양한 드라마 포스터와 KBS 캐릭터들이 반겨주었습니다. 익숙한 얼굴을 발견한 학생들은 사진을 찍느라 바빴고, 반가워하는 모습을 보였답니다!
견학 코스에서는 AR 기술이나 크로마키 촬영 체험도 직접 해볼 수 있었습니다. 가상 배경 앞에서 뉴스를 읽어보거나, 특별한 효과가 입혀지는 화면을 확인하면서 모두가 즐거워했답니다.
또, 직접 KBS 에서 방영한 애니메이션과 드라마 더빙도 체험할 수 있었습니다. 예전 카메라와 마이크, 다양한 프로그램 자료들을 보며 방송의 발전 과정을 자연스럽게 배울 수 있었습니다.
실제 방송 제작 과정을 직접 보고, 만지고, 체험하면서 더욱 생생하게 느낄 수 있었던 하루였습니다. 오늘의 견학을 통해 한국 방송 문화에 대한 이해도 한층 깊어졌답니다 🙂

We had the exciting opportunity to tour KBS Broadcasting Station!
For those who enjoy Korean dramas and variety shows, it was truly a thrilling experience. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were greeted by posters from well-known dramas and the friendly KBS characters. Spotting familiar faces on the posters, everyone quickly pulled out their phones to take photos, smiling with excitement.
During the tour, we even got to try out AR technology and chroma key filming. Reading the news in front of a virtual backdrop and watching the special effects appear on the screen brought lots of laughter and amazement. There was also a chance to practice dubbing scenes from KBS animations and dramas, which turned out to be a highlight for many.
Walking through the exhibits of old cameras, microphones, and program archives gave us a glimpse into the history of broadcasting and how much it has evolved. Seeing, touching, and directly experiencing the production process made everything feel even more vivid and real.
By the end of the day, everyone came away with a deeper appreciation for Korean broadcasting culture. It was both an enjoyable and educational visit—one that showed how the TV moments we watch every day are actually created behind the scenes!
인사동은 경복궁 근처에 있어요. 그래서 전통적인 동네예요. 인사동에 가면 한국의 전통 문화를 경험할 수 있어요.우리는 지하철로 인사동에 가기로 했어요. 버스로도 갈 수 있지만 친구들 가방이 커서 지하철로 빠르고 편하게 가기로 했어요.
인사동까지 지하철로 50분쯤 걸렸어요. 종로 3가역에서 내리면 인사동이 가까워요. 그런데 지하철에서 내리니까 비가 오고 있었어요!
비가 왔지만, 우리는 종로3가와 인사동이 처음이라서 즐거웠어요. 왜냐면 강남과 인사동의 분위기가 달랐어요. 친구들은 한국의 전통적인 분위기를 좋아했어요.
인사동은 높은 건물이 없어요. 그래서 하늘을 가깝게 볼 수 있어요. 길을 걸을 때마다 전통적이고 한국적인 물건을 파는 가게를 볼 수 있어요. 그리고 간판이 한국어라서 더 재미있어요. “저기가 어디예요?”, “읽어 보세요”, “아!!”
우리는 쌈지길에도 갔어요. 쌈지길에서는 직접 도장을 만들 수 있고, 키링도 만들 수 있어요. 손으로 직접 만든 물건을 파는 가게가 많이 있어요. 비가 오거나 날씨가 너무 추울 때 구경하기 좋아요.
친구들이 쇼핑을 했어요. 생각보다 비싼 물건도 있었지만 귀엽고 비싸지 않은 물건도 있었어요. 친구들이 뭘 샀을까요?
귀여운 스티커를 샀어요. 스티커를 휴대폰이나 책에 붙일 거예요. 고향에 돌아간 후에도 한국을 기억할 수 있어요.
계속 비가 왔지만 우리는 계속 산책을 했어요. 길거리에 있는 예쁜 가게에도 가 보고 ‘안녕 인사동’에도 가 봤어요. 친구들은 선생님에게 ‘이 물건이 뭐예요?’, ‘언제 사용해요?’, ‘뭘로 만들었어요?’ 물어봤어요.
우리는 두 시간 동안 인사동을 즐겁게 산책했어요. 날씨가 좋지 않아서 조금 아쉬웠지만 한국 전통 문화를 체험할 수 있었어요.
인사동에서 동쪽으로 가면 광장시장, 서쪽으로 가면 경복궁, 북쪽으로 가면 한옥마을, 남쪽으로 가면 청계천이 있어요. 인사동을 구경한 후에도 여기저기를 더 구경할 수 있어요.
그러니까 여러분도 인사동에 한번 가 보세요. 🙂
Hello! Today, we went to Insadong. Have you ever been there?
Insadong is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, so it has a very traditional vibe. Visiting Insadong is a great way to experience Korean culture. We decided to take the subway since some of our friends had big bags—buses are an option too, but the subway was faster and more convenient.
It took about 50 minutes to reach Insadong by subway. Getting off at Jongno 3-ga Station, Insadong was just a short walk away. When we arrived, it was raining, but that didn’t stop us—we were excited because it was our first time exploring both Jongno 3-ga and Insadong.
The atmosphere in Insadong was very different from Gangnam. There are no tall buildings, so you can see the sky clearly, and the streets are lined with shops selling traditional and Korean-style items. Many of the signs are in Korean, which made exploring even more fun. We kept asking each other, “What is that?” and “Can you read it?”—laughing as we wandered around.
We also visited Ssamziegil, where you can make your own stamps or keychains. There were lots of shops selling handmade items, which is perfect for rainy or cold days. Our friends did some shopping too. Some items were expensive, but there were many cute and affordable things.
Do you want to know what they bought? Cute stickers! They plan to decorate their phones and books with them, so even after going back home, they’ll remember Korea.
Even though it kept raining, we continued walking and exploring. We visited pretty little shops along the street and also Annyeong Insadong, asking questions like, “What is this for?” or “How is it made?”
We spent about two hours strolling through Insadong, enjoying the traditional culture. The weather wasn’t perfect, but it was still a wonderful experience.
Insadong is also very convenient to explore nearby areas: to the east is Gwangjang Market, to the west is Gyeongbokgung Palace, to the north is a Hanok Village, and to the south is Cheonggyecheon Stream. After visiting Insadong, you can easily continue sightseeing in these areas.
So, if you have a chance, you should definitely visit Insadong! 🙂
