지난 금요일에는 국악박물관에 다녀왔습니다!

국악박물관은 한국의 전통 음악과 그 역사를 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있는 곳인데요. 다양한 전통 악기와 음악 문화에 대해 쉽고 재미있게 알아볼 수 있어 한국 문화를 좋아하는 분들에게 특히 추천하고 싶은 장소입니다.

무엇보다 입장료가 무료라는 점이 정말 매력적이에요! 😊
또한 박물관에서 제공하는 미디어 태블릿을 이용하면 한국어를 몰라도 다양한 언어로 전시를 즐길 수 있어서 외국인도 부담 없이 관람할 수 있습니다.

2층으로 올라가면 한국의 전통 악기와 음악의 역사, 그리고 옛 악보까지 다양한 전시를 만날 수 있습니다.

신기한 악기들을 하나하나 살펴보고, 한국의 전통 악보에도 큰 관심을 보이며 즐겁게 관람했습니다.

하지만 전시를 보는 것만으로는 조금 아쉬울 수도 있겠죠?

국악박물관에는 직접 악기를 체험해 볼 수 있는 공간도 마련되어 있습니다!

실제로 악기를 연주해 보며 소리를 들어볼 수 있어, 한국 전통 음악을 더욱 생생하게 느낄 수 있었습니다.

또 하나 인상 깊었던 점은 박물관 안에서 만날 수 있는 AI 로봇 ‘큐아이’​였습니다.

관람하다 궁금한 점이 생기면 큐아이에게 질문할 수 있는데요. 한국어뿐만 아니라 영어, 중국어, 일본어​도 지원해서 외국인 관람객도 편하게 설명을 들을 수 있습니다.

전시를 보고, 직접 체험도 하고, AI 로봇과 대화까지 해보니 시간 가는 줄 모르고 즐길 수 있었던 하루였습니다.

Last Friday, we visited the Gugak Museum, a museum dedicated to traditional Korean music!

The museum is a wonderful place to explore the history of Korean traditional music and discover a wide variety of traditional instruments. It is especially worth visiting for anyone interested in Korean culture.

One of the best things about the museum is that admission is free! 😊
The museum also provides multimedia tablets, so visitors can enjoy the exhibitions even if they do not speak Korean.

On the second floor, you can find various exhibitions about traditional Korean instruments, the history of Korean music, and old musical scores. We took our time looking closely at the unique instruments and learning more about traditional Korean notation.

Of course, simply looking at the exhibitions may not always be enough to fully experience the music.

That is why the museum also has a special area where visitors can try playing traditional instruments themselves! Listening to the sounds and experiencing the instruments firsthand made traditional Korean music feel even more vivid and exciting.

Another interesting feature of the museum is its AI robot, Q-I. If you have any questions while exploring the museum, Q-I can help you. It can speak Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese, making it easy for international visitors to receive information and explanations.

We enjoyed the exhibitions, tried the instruments, and even interacted with an AI robot. It was such a fun and memorable experience!

안녕하세요?

화창한 주말, 함께 모여서 다양한 주제를 가지고 한국어와 영어, 영어와 한국어로 이야기하는 시간을 가졌습니다!

음식과 음악을 비롯한 운동과 대중문화까지 정말 다양한 주제에 대해서 이야기를 했습니다. 이야기를 통해서 주제와 관련된 어휘 표현을 서로 주고받기도 했습니다. 시작한 지 얼마 안 되었을 때는 수줍어하는 사람들도 있었지만 대화는 이내 활기를 띠었고 옆 팀에서 무슨 말을 하는지 알아들을 수 없을 만큼 교실에 목소리가 꽉 찼습니다.

한국인을 비롯한 여러 나라의 멤버들이 이렇게나 많이 참여할 줄 몰랐습니다! 다양한 국적의 사람들이 모이니까 역시 이야기가 마를 틈이 없었네요. 🙂

대중문화에 대해서 이야기할 때는 폭발적인 반응이었습니다. 음악을 멀리할 사람은 없잖아요. 모두 전통음악뿐만 아니라 한국의 케이팝 가수까지 밋업은 무르익었습니다. 쉬는 시간에도 준비된 한국 전통 간식 약과를 먹으면서 멤버들은 교류를 이어갔습니다. 쉬는 시간이 끝난 후 두 번째 밋업에서도 한 명의 낙오자도 없이 열띤 대화의 흐름이 지속되었습니다.

아쉽지만 밋업을 끝내야 할 때가 왔습니다. 주말 밋업이 재미있는지 여러 번 참여한 멤버, 그 과정에서 서로 알게 되어 새 친구를 사귀는 사람들. 정말 흥미롭지 않나요? 모두는 시간이 넘어서도 이야기 꽃을 피웠습니다. 다음 밋업을 기약하며, 블로그를 마치겠습니다. 다음에 또 만나요.

Hello everyone!

On a beautiful sunny weekend, we gathered together to spend time chatting in both Korean and English on a wide variety of topics.

From food and music to sports and pop culture, our conversations covered all kinds of interesting subjects. As we talked, we also exchanged useful vocabulary and expressions related to each topic. Although some participants were a little shy at first, the atmosphere quickly became lively. Before long, the classroom was filled with so many conversations that it was almost impossible to hear what the groups next to us were saying.

We were pleasantly surprised by how many people joined us, including both Koreans and participants from many different countries. With such a diverse group of people, there was never a shortage of things to talk about. 🙂

The discussion on pop culture, in particular, generated an enthusiastic response. After all, who doesn’t enjoy music? Our conversations ranged from traditional music from different countries to Korean K-pop artists, making the meetup even more engaging and energetic.

During the break, everyone continued getting to know one another while enjoying yakgwa, a traditional Korean sweet that had been prepared for the event. After the break, the second session picked up right where we had left off, and the lively conversations continued with everyone fully engaged.

Before we knew it, it was time to wrap up the meetup. Some participants were joining us for the first time, while others had attended several of our previous meetups. It was wonderful to see people getting to know each other, making new friends, and building connections through these gatherings.

Isn’t that what makes these meetups so special? Even after the official program had ended, many participants stayed behind, chatting happily together long after the scheduled finishing time.

HAN RIVER PICNIC – 한강 피크닉

안녕하세요!

오늘은 서울을 대표하는 휴식 공간인 한강에서 피크닉 문화체험을 진행했어요.

한강은 서울 시민들에게 사랑받는 대표적인 명소입니다. 넓은 강변을 따라 산책을 하거나 자전거를 타고, 돗자리를 펴고 여유로운 시간을 보내며 서울의 일상을 가장 가까이에서 느낄 수 있는 곳이랍니다.

맑은 하늘 아래 한강에 도착하니 시원하게 펼쳐진 강 풍경이 반겨 주었어요. 무더운 날씨였지만, 설레는 마음으로 오늘의 피크닉을 시작했습니다.

먼저 돗자리를 펴고 한강을 바라보며 여유로운 시간을 보냈어요. 탁 트인 풍경을 감상하며 이야기를 나누는 것만으로도 서울의 여유를 느낄 수 있었습니다.

오늘은 각자 원하는 방식으로 한강을 즐겼어요. 한강 피크닉의 대표 음식인 라면을 맛보며 여유로운 시간을 보내는 모습도 있었고,

시원한 강바람을 맞으며 자전거를 타고 한강을 달리는 모습도 볼 수 있었답니다. 넓게 이어진 자전거 길을 따라 달리며 서울의 아름다운 풍경을 마음껏 만끽했습니다.

무더운 날씨였지만 한강의 탁 트인 풍경과 강바람 덕분에 더욱 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었어요.

라면을 먹으며 여유를 즐기는 시간도, 자전거를 타며 활기찬 시간을 보내는 순간도 모두 각자의 방식으로 한강의 매력을 느낄 수 있었던 시간이었습니다.

오늘의 문화체험은 서울 시민들의 일상 속 휴식 문화를 직접 경험하며 한국에서만 느낄 수 있는 특별한 매력을 발견하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

HAN RIVER PICNIC – A Relaxing Day by the River

Today, we enjoyed a relaxing picnic at the Han River, one of Seoul’s most popular places to unwind.

The Han River is a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. Whether you’re riding a bicycle, enjoying a picnic, or simply relaxing by the water, it’s one of the best places to experience everyday life in Seoul.

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the beautiful riverside scenery. Although the weather was quite hot, everyone was excited to spend the day outdoors.

We spread out our picnic mats and relaxed while enjoying the peaceful view of the Han River. Simply sitting by the water and chatting together made the day feel extra special.

Everyone enjoyed the Han River in their own way. Some chose to relax on the picnic mats while enjoying a bowl of ramen, one of the most popular foods to eat by the Han River.

Others rented bicycles and rode along the riverside paths, taking in the beautiful scenery and enjoying the refreshing breeze as they explored the area.

Even though it was a hot summer day, everyone had a wonderful time. Whether relaxing with delicious food or cycling along the river, each person created their own special memories.

Today’s cultural activity gave us the opportunity to experience one of Seoul’s favorite ways to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It was a memorable day filled with beautiful views, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

If you ever visit Seoul, we highly recommend spending some time at the Han River. Enjoy a picnic, try some ramen, or ride a bicycle—you’ll discover why it is one of the city’s most beloved places.

Gugak Museum – 국악 박물관

오늘은 국악 박물관에 다녀왔어요.
아침에는 비가 많이 왔지만 국악 박물관에 갈 때는 비가 안 와서 다행이었어요 ☺️

국악 박물관은 한국 전통 음악의 역사와 문화를 공부할 수 있는 곳이에요.
다양한 한국의 전통 악기가 있어서 악기를 직접 연주해 볼 수도 있어요!

또 한국의 전통 음악에 맞춰 전통 춤을 추는 게임도 해 봤어요!
조금 어려웠지만 정말 재미있었어요.

특별히 3층에는 아리랑에 관련된 전시를 하고 있었어요.
몇 가지 질문에 답을 하면 나만의 특별한 아리랑을 만들어 주고, 직접 불러볼 수도 있었어요!
이 전시를 정말 추천해요 😍

마지막으로 귀여운 열쇠고리도 선물로 받았어요!
더운 여름에 시원한 박물관에서 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔어요.

Today, we visited the National Gugak Museum.
It rained a lot in the morning, but luckily it stopped by the time we went to the museum. ☺️

The National Gugak Museum is a place where you can learn about the history and culture of Gugak, which is Korean traditional music.
There are many different Korean traditional instruments, and we even had a chance to play some of them ourselves!

We also played a game where we danced to Korean traditional music.
It was a little difficult, but it was really fun!

There was a special exhibition about Arirang on the third floor.
After answering a few questions, we could create our own special version of Arirang and even sing it ourselves!
We really recommend this exhibition. 😍

At the end of our visit, we received a cute keychain as a gift!
Even though it was a hot summer day, we had a wonderful time in the cool museum.

KOREAN TRADITIONAL CALLIGRAPHY – 서예

안녕하세요!

오늘은 서예 문화체험을 진행했어요.

서예는 붓과 먹을 사용해 글씨를 쓰는 한국의 전통 예술입니다. 한 획 한 획에 집중하며 글씨를 완성해 가는 과정 속에서 한국 전통문화의 아름다움과 여유를 함께 느낄 수 있는 매력적인 문화체험이랍니다.

먼저 붓을 잡는 방법과 먹을 사용하는 방법, 그리고 붓글씨를 쓰는 기본 자세를 배워 보았어요. 평소 사용하던 펜과는 다른 느낌에 모두 흥미를 보이며 체험을 시작했습니다.

기본 획을 여러 번 연습하며 붓의 힘을 조절하는 방법도 익혀 보았어요. 처음에는 다소 어색해했지만, 차분히 연습을 이어 가며 점점 붓글씨에 익숙해지는 모습이 인상적이었습니다.

기본 연습이 끝난 뒤에는 직접 자신의 이름을 한글로 써 보았습니다. 한 글자 한 글자 정성껏 써 내려가며 자신만의 작품을 완성해 가는 모습이 무척 진지했어요.

이름을 쓴 뒤에는 자신이 좋아하는 것들과 자신의 나라 이름도 자유롭게 적어 보았습니다. 좋아하는 음식이나 취미, 고향을 떠올리며 직접 붓으로 표현하는 시간이 더욱 뜻깊게 느껴졌습니다.

충분히 연습한 후에는 전통 책가도에 가장 마음에 드는 글귀나 단어를 옮겨 적어 보았어요. 연습했던 내용을 떠올리며 집중해서 써 내려가는 모습에서 모두의 정성을 느낄 수 있었습니다.

같은 붓과 먹을 사용했지만 각자의 개성이 담긴 작품들이 완성되었어요. 서로의 작품을 감상하며 웃음이 끊이지 않았고, 다양한 표현을 보는 재미도 느낄 수 있었습니다.

마지막에는 직접 완성한 작품을 들고 기념사진도 촬영했어요. 자신이 정성껏 쓴 글씨를 자랑스럽게 보여 주는 모습에서 오늘의 즐거움과 성취감이 그대로 전해졌습니다.

오늘 진행한 서예 문화체험은 한국의 전통 예술을 직접 경험하며 붓글씨의 매력을 느껴볼 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 처음에는 낯설었던 붓이었지만, 연습을 거듭할수록 자신만의 멋진 작품을 완성해 가는 모습이 정말 인상적이었어요. 오늘의 작품처럼 한국에서의 추억도 오래도록 소중하게 간직되기를 바랍니다.

Calligraphy – Korean Traditional Calligraphy

Today, we held a Korean calligraphy experience.

Calligraphy is a traditional Korean art that uses a brush and ink to create beautiful writing. It is more than simply writing letters—it is about expressing yourself through every careful brushstroke while experiencing an important part of Korean culture.

We began by learning how to hold the brush, use the ink, and practice the basic brush techniques. Since writing with a brush felt very different from using a pen, everyone was excited to try something new.

After practicing the basic strokes several times, everyone gradually became more comfortable controlling the brush. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with each attempt.

Next, everyone wrote their own names in Korean. Carefully completing each character made every piece unique and meaningful.

After that, we wrote the names of things we like as well as our home countries. It was a fun way to express ourselves while practicing Korean writing.

Once we had enough practice, everyone selected their favorite word or phrase and carefully wrote it on a traditional Chaekgado background. Watching each piece come together with patience and concentration made the activity even more special.

Although everyone used the same brush and ink, each artwork reflected a different personality and style. It was enjoyable to admire one another’s finished pieces.

To wrap up the activity, everyone proudly held their completed calligraphy and took commemorative photos together. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces made it clear how much they had enjoyed today’s experience.

Today’s calligraphy session was a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of Korean traditional art while creating meaningful memories. We hope today’s artwork will remain a special reminder of this unforgettable cultural experience.

ROLLER SKATING – 롤러스케이트

안녕하세요!

오늘은 신나는 롤러스케이트 문화체험을 다녀왔어요.

롤러스케이트는 남녀노소 누구나 함께 즐길 수 있는 실내 액티비티입니다. 음악과 화려한 조명 속에서 신나게 스케이트를 타며 특별한 추억을 만들 수 있어 많은 사람들에게 사랑받고 있는 체험이랍니다.

먼저 안전을 위해 헬멧과 보호대를 착용한 뒤 롤러스케이트를 신고 입장했어요. 형형색색의 조명과 신나는 음악이 흘러나오는 실내에 들어서자 모두의 얼굴에 기대감이 가득했습니다.

처음부터 능숙하게 스케이트를 타는 모습도 볼 수 있었고, 조심스럽게 한 걸음씩 연습하는 모습도 볼 수 있었어요. 각자의 속도에 맞춰 즐기는 모습이 무척 인상적이었습니다.

스케이트가 아직 익숙하지 않은 경우에는 균형을 잡을 수 있도록 도와주는 보조 기구를 이용하며 편안하게 체험을 이어 갔어요. 덕분에 누구나 부담 없이 롤러스케이트를 즐길 수 있었습니다.

화려한 조명과 경쾌한 음악이 어우러지니 분위기는 더욱 신나졌어요. 트랙을 따라 천천히 달리며 웃음이 끊이지 않았고, 모두가 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

시간이 지날수록 점점 균형을 잘 잡고 자연스럽게 움직이는 모습도 볼 수 있었어요. 처음에는 조심스럽게 출발했던 모습이 어느새 자신감 있는 미소로 바뀌어 가는 모습이 정말 보기 좋았습니다.

중간중간 사진도 찍고 서로 응원하며 더욱 즐거운 추억을 만들었어요. 함께 웃고 즐기는 시간 덕분에 실내는 활기찬 에너지로 가득했습니다.

오늘의 문화체험은 실내에서 시원하게 즐기며 새로운 도전에 용기를 내고, 함께 웃으며 소중한 추억을 만들 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

Roller Skating – Indoor Fun on Wheels

Hello everyone!

Today, we had an exciting roller skating experience at an indoor skating rink.

Roller skating is a fun indoor activity that people of all ages can enjoy. With lively music and colorful lights, it is the perfect place to create unforgettable memories while having lots of fun.

Before entering the rink, everyone put on helmets and protective gear to skate safely. As soon as we stepped inside, the colorful lights and energetic atmosphere made everyone even more excited.

Some were already confident on their skates, while others took their first careful steps. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the experience at their own pace.

Those who needed a little extra support used skating aids to help with their balance, making it easy for everyone to join in and have fun without feeling nervous.

The combination of upbeat music and dazzling lights made the atmosphere even more exciting. Smiles filled the rink as everyone skated around and enjoyed the experience together.

As time went by, everyone’s confidence continued to grow. Those who were cautious at the beginning gradually became more comfortable and were soon skating with bright smiles on their faces.

We also took plenty of photos and cheered each other on throughout the session, making today’s experience even more memorable.

Today’s cultural activity was a wonderful opportunity to try something new, have fun together, and create lasting memories.

KPOP DANCE-ILLIT-IT’S ME

안녕하세요! 오늘은 K-POP 댄스 체험을 하고 왔어요! 전문 강사와 함께 아일릿(ILLIT)의 ‘It’s Me’ 안무를 배워 보았어요. 

처음에는 조금 어려웠지만, 함께 연습하며 점점 자신감이 생겼답니다. 

신나게 춤을 추고 K-POP 문화를 직접 체험하며 즐겁고 특별한 시간을 보냈어요!

Hello! Today, we joined a K-pop dance class! We learned the choreography to ILLIT’s “It’s Me” with a professional instructor. It was a little challenging at first, but we became more confident as we practiced together. Dancing and experiencing K-pop culture firsthand made it a fun and memorable experience!

N Seoul Tower – N서울타워

안녕하세요! 오늘은 남산타워에 다녀왔어요! 전망대에 올라 서울의 아름다운 풍경을 한눈에 감상했어요. 

멋진 무예24기 공연도 구경하고, 팔각정에서 기념사진을 찍으며 즐거운 시간을 보냈답니다. 

서울의 아름다운 경치를 보며 특별한 추억을 만들 수 있었어요!
Hello! Today, we visited Namsan Tower! We went up to the observatory and enjoyed the beautiful panoramic view of Seoul. We also watched an exciting performance of the Muye 24 gi and took photos at the Octagonal Pavilion. It was a wonderful day filled with beautiful scenery and unforgettable memories!

Gyeongbokgung Palace – 경복궁

오늘은 한국의 아름다운 궁궐, 경복궁에 다녀왔어요!

경복궁의 정문인 광화문으로 들어가 근정전과 경회루를 구경했답니다.

아름다운 한복을 입고 궁궐을 걸으며 한국의 전통문화를 더욱 가까이 느낄 수 있었어요.
멋진 풍경 속에서 사진도 찍고 즐거운 추억도 만들며 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다. 여러분도 경복궁에서 한국의 역사와 아름다움을 직접 느껴 보세요!

Hello! Today, we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace! We entered through Gwanghwamun Gate and explored Geunjeongjeon Hall and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. Wearing beautiful hanbok made the experience even more special, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the beauty and history of the palace.

LOTTE WORLD TOWER SEOUL SKY – 롯데월드타워 서울스카이

안녕하세요!

오늘은 서울을 한눈에 내려다볼 수 있는 특별한 장소, 서울스카이 문화체험을 다녀왔어요.

서울스카이는 롯데월드타워의 전망대로, 대한민국에서 가장 높은 전망대 중 하나입니다. 높은 곳에서 서울의 아름다운 풍경을 감상할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 서울의 현재와 과거를 다양한 전시와 함께 살펴볼 수 있는 특별한 공간이랍니다.

전망대로 올라가는 초고속 엘리베이터를 타는 순간부터 설렘이 가득했어요. 빠르게 높아지는 층수를 보며 모두 기대에 찬 표정을 감추지 못했습니다.

전망대에 도착하자 넓게 펼쳐진 서울의 풍경이 눈앞에 펼쳐졌어요. 맑은 날씨 덕분에 멀리까지 시야가 트여 한강과 도심, 그리고 서울 곳곳의 모습을 선명하게 감상할 수 있었습니다.

서울의 대표적인 랜드마크를 하나씩 찾아보며 어디가 어디인지 이야기하는 시간도 가졌어요. 높은 곳에서 바라보는 서울은 평소와는 또 다른 매력을 느끼게 해 주었습니다.

서울스카이의 명소인 유리바닥 스카이데크에도 올라가 보았어요. 발아래로 펼쳐지는 풍경을 바라보며 처음에는 조금 긴장하기도 했지만, 용기를 내어 직접 걸어 보며 특별한 경험을 즐겼습니다.

높은 하늘에서 바라본 서울의 풍경은 모두에게 오래 기억될 소중한 추억이 되었습니다. 곳곳을 둘러보며 서울의 아름다움을 다시 한번 느낄 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었어요.

오늘의 문화체험은 서울을 새로운 시각에서 바라보고 한국의 현대적인 모습을 가까이에서 경험할 수 있었던 특별한 시간이었습니다.

Experience Seoul from Above – Seoul Sky Cultural Experience

Today, we visited Seoul Sky, one of the most spectacular observation decks in Korea.

Located inside Lotte World Tower, Seoul Sky is one of the highest observation decks in the country. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of Seoul while also introducing visitors to the city’s history and development through a variety of exhibitions.

The excitement began the moment we stepped into the high-speed elevator. Watching the floor numbers rise so quickly made everyone even more excited about reaching the top.

When we arrived at the observation deck, an incredible view of Seoul unfolded before us. Thanks to the clear weather, we could see the Han River, the city’s skyline, and many famous landmarks stretching far into the distance.

We spent time identifying well-known places around Seoul and enjoyed seeing the city from a completely different perspective. Looking down from above gave us a new appreciation for just how large and beautiful Seoul is.

There were also several wonderful photo spots throughout the observation deck, making it the perfect place to capture unforgettable memories with the stunning cityscape in the background.

One of the highlights of the visit was walking across the famous glass-floored Sky Deck. Although it felt a little nerve-racking at first, everyone gathered their courage and enjoyed this unique experience.

The breathtaking scenery from above created memories that will last for a long time. It was a meaningful opportunity to discover another side of Seoul and experience Korea’s modern cityscape from an unforgettable viewpoint.
