Oryukdo Skywalk – 오륙도 스카이워크
안녕하세요! 오늘은 오륙도 스카이워크에 다녀 왔어요! 오륙도는 다섯 개, 혹은 여섯 개로 보이는 섬으로 아름다운 바다 절경을 볼 수 있는 장소예요!
아래 바닥이 투명해서 아찔해요 ㅋㅋ그래도 아주 재미있었답니다~
스카이워크 근처에는 오륙도 해맞이 공원이 있어 공원에서도 산책했어요.
날씨가 좋아서 정말 좋은 액티비티였어요.
Hello! Today, we visited the Oryukdo Skywalk!
Oryukdo is a group of islands that look like either five or six, and it’s a beautiful place where you can enjoy stunning ocean views.
The floor is made of glass, so it was quite thrilling haha, but it was really fun!
There is also Oryukdo Sunrise Park near the skywalk, so we took a walk there as well.
The weather was great, so it turned out to be a really enjoyable activity!
Gyeongbokgung Palace – 경복궁
안녕하세요! 오늘은 경복궁에 다녀왔어요.
미세먼지가 많고 바람이 많이 불었지만 날씨가 많이 따뜻해서 괜찮았어요.
3호선 경복궁 역에서 나왔는데 사람이 정말 많았어요! 그래도 안내해 주시는 분들 덕분에 금방 안으로 들어갈 수 있었어요.
먼저 우리는 ‘근정전’을 봤어요. 여기는 왕의 즉위식이나 외국 사신들을 맞이하는 등 나라의 가장 중요한 행사가 열렸던 곳이에요. 조선시대 왕이 실제로 있었던 곳이라 신기하죠?
다음으로 우리는 ‘경회루’를 봤어요. 경회루는 연못 위에 지어졌고 나라에 큰 연회가 있을 때 사용하던 아름다운 장소예요.
우리는 경복궁의 아름다운 풍경을 봤어요. 여유롭게 산책하면서 다양한 방면으로 경복궁을 감상했어요.
경복궁 안에 예쁘고 다양한 꽃이 펴서 꽃 사진도 많이 찍었어요. 정말 재미있었어요!

Hello! Today, We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Although there was a lot of fine dust and it was quite windy, the weather was warm, so it was still nice. We came out of Gyeongbokgung Station on Line 3, and there were so many people! However, thanks to the staff who guided us in Gyeongbokgung Palace, we were able to get inside quickly.
First, we visited Geunjeongjeon Hall. This is where the most important national events were held, such as royal coronations and welcoming foreign envoys. Isn’t it amazing to think that the king of the Joseon Dynasty was actually there?
Next, we saw Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. It is built over a pond and is a beautiful place that was used for large royal banquets.
We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Gyeongbokgung Palace. We took a relaxing walk and explored the palace from different angles. There were many beautiful flowers blooming inside the palace, so we also took lots of photos.
It was really fun!
Mother-of-Pearl Craft – 자개 그립톡 만들기
오늘은 한국의 전통 공예 중 하나인 자개 공예로 휴대폰 그립톡을 꾸며 보았어요.
자개는 쓰레기로 버려지는 대신 조개 껍데기를 모아 공예품으로 쓸 수 있는 부분을 골라내어 다듬고 납작하게 만들어 탁자, 컵, 옷장, 문 등 여러가지 가구나 생활용품에 여러가지 문양으로 꾸미는 공예예요.
자개는 한국에서 오래전부터 왕실이나 귀족들의 계급층에서 자주 쓰이던 전통 공예 재료예요.
그만큼 귀중하고 가치가 높았던 재료이지요.
먼저, 이렇게 준비 재료들을 꺼내어 움직이지 않게 테입으로 고정시켜 줍니다.
자개 전용 접착제를 그립톡 위에 골고루 발라주고 원하는 디자인에 맞춰 자개를 놓아줍니다.
그리고 동봉 된 나무막대를 사용하여 긴 자개스틱을 조금씩 잘라내어 원하는 곳에 위치시켜 줍니다.
다들 각자 개성있는 그립톡을 만들기 시작했어요.
드디어 다 만들고 찰칵, 자기가 만든 그립톡을 자랑하는 시간을 가진 후 단체 사진도 찍었답니다.
자개공예를 찾아보면 만들어 볼 수 있는 물건 종류가 정말 많더라고요. 여러분도 한번 도전해 보세요!
Today, we had a special time decorating phone grip toks with Jagae (mother-of-pearl), one of Korea’s most exquisite traditional crafts.
Jagae is a beautiful example of sustainable art. Instead of being discarded as waste, seashells are collected, and the pearlescent parts are carefully selected, polished, and flattened. We then use these pieces to create intricate patterns on furniture and everyday items like tables, cups, wardrobes, and doors. Historically, this material was reserved for the Korean royalty and aristocracy, making it a symbol of high prestige and artistic value.
To begin our project, we laid out our materials and secured them with tape to keep everything in place. After applying a specialized adhesive evenly onto the grip toks, we started placing the Jagae pieces according to our own creative designs. Using the provided wooden sticks, we carefully broke the long Jagae strips into smaller segments to fit them into the desired spots.
We all became deeply immersed in creating our own unique pieces. Once the work was complete—click!—we took a moment to admire each other’s creations and ended the session with a group photo. We discovered that the possibilities with mother-of-pearl are truly endless, spanning a wide variety of items. We highly recommend that you all experience this elegant craft for yourselves!
GANGNAM TOUR – 강남 투어
안녕하세요! 😊
오늘은 학생들과 함께 활기찬 강남 투어를 다녀왔습니다!
우선 강남역 5번 출구를 지나, 7번 출구 근처에 위치한 알라딘 중고서점에 방문했어요.
다양한 책들이 가득해서 어떤 책이 있는지 살펴보는 재미가 쏠쏠했습니다.
책뿐만 아니라 K-pop 앨범과 여러 문구류도 구경하며 시간을 보냈어요!
그다음에는 10번 출구 쪽으로 이동해 미니소에 들렀습니다.
이곳에서는 인형부터 다양한 캐릭터 상품까지 만나볼 수 있었는데요,
특히 한 학생이 크고 푹신한 인형을 보고 무척 좋아하는 모습이 인상적이었어요 😊
귀엽고 아기자기한 물건들이 많아 모두가 즐겁게 둘러볼 수 있었습니다.
또한 포토부스에도 들러 특별한 시간을 보냈습니다!
스누피 포토 프레임으로 네 컷 사진을 찍으며 추억을 남겼어요 📸
이후에는 강남 먹자골목을 지나며 거리 구경도 했습니다.
이동하는 동안 아트박스, 설빙, 그리고 다양한 식당들을 둘러보며 강남의 분위기를 느껴볼 수 있었어요.
마지막으로 강남스타일 포토존에서 단체 사진을 촬영하며 투어를 마무리했습니다!
함께 사진을 찍으며 즐거운 추억을 또 하나 만들었네요 😄
이렇게 오늘의 강남 투어도 알차게 마무리되었습니다.

Today, I went on a fun Gangnam tour with the students!
First, we passed Exit 5 of Gangnam Station and visited the Aladin used bookstore near Exit 7.
There were so many books, so it was fun to look around and see what they had.
We also checked out K-pop albums and some stationery items!
Next, we moved toward Exit 10 and stopped by MINISO.
There, we could see many cute items, including dolls and character goods.
One student was especially happy to see a big, soft doll 😊
There were many small and cute items, so everyone enjoyed looking around.
We also visited a photo booth!
We took four-cut photos using a Snoopy photo frame 📸
After that, we walked through the Gangnam food street and looked around.
On the way, we saw places like Artbox, Sulbing, and many restaurants, and we could feel the lively atmosphere of Gangnam.
Finally, we took a group photo at the Gangnam Style photo zone!
We made happy memories together 😄
Our Gangnam tour ended in a fun and meaningful way.
I’m already looking forward to the next tour!
Mother-of-Pearl Craft – 자개키링 만들기
안녕하세요,
오늘은 한국 전통 공예 중 하나인 자개 공예 시간을 가졌습니다.
자개 공예는 조개껍질을 얇고 세밀하게 자른 ‘자개’를 나무, 금속, 또는 옻칠한 물건에 붙여 만드는 한국의 전통 공예예요.
자개 공예품은 직접 손으로 만들기 때문에 시간이 오래 걸리고, 재료도 비싸서 예로부터 귀한 물건으로 여겨졌어요. 그래서 옛날에는 왕실과 귀족들이 부와 권력을 보여주기 위해 자개로 만든 장식품이나 가구를 사용했어요.
오늘 액티비티에서는 조선 시대 왕이 입던 예복인 곤룡포 디자인의 키링을 만들었어요.
자개 키링을 만드는 과정은 다음과 같습니다.
먼저 자개를 잘게 잘라 작은 조각으로 만듭니다. 이 자개 조각들을 곤룡포 위에 조심스럽게 붙여 아름다운 무늬를 만듭니다. 붙인 자개를 고정하고 나면 투명한 코팅을 여러 겹 발라 광택을 내고 화려한 색채를 자랑하게 됩니다.

Today, we had a Mother-of-pearl Craft activity, one of Korea’s traditional crafts.
Mother-of-Pearl craft is a traditional Korean art form in which thin, finely cut pieces of seashell (called ‘jagae’) are carefully attached to wood, metal, or lacquered surfaces. Because each piece is handmade and the materials are expensive, jagae crafts have long been considered valuable. In the past, members of the royal family and the nobility used jagae-decorated furniture and ornaments to display their wealth and power.
In today’s activity, we made keyrings inspired by gonryongpo, the royal robe worn by kings during the Joseon Dynasty.
The process of making a jagae keyring is as follows:
First, the shells are cut into small, delicate pieces. Then, these pieces are carefully arranged and attached onto the gonryongpo shape to create beautiful patterns. After fixing them in place, several layers of clear coating are applied to enhance the shine and bring out the vibrant colors.

Jagae Gongye Keyring – 자개공예키링
2026년 3월 20일, 학생들이 함께 자개공예 키링 만들기를 했어요.
자개공예는 한국의 전통 공예의 하나로 조개껍데기를 활용해 예쁜 스티커를 만들어 물품에 장식하는 것이에요.
오늘 우리가 한 것은 자개공예를 누구나 쉽게 할 수 있는 키트로 한 거예요. 작은 자개 조각을 한국적인 모양의 키링용 판에 예쁘게 장식해서 고리를 다는 거예요.
키트는 위 사진과 같이 몇 가지 종류가 있어요. 한국 조선 시대 왕들이 입던 곤룡포 형태의 디자인, 청자 형태의 디자인, 백자 형태의 디자인이 있어요. 그리고 어떻게 만드는지 설명서가 그림과 함께 첨부돼 있어요.
도구를 활용해 섬세하게 자개 조각을 다뤄서 예쁘게 붙여요.
완성된 키링은 위 사진과 같아요. 이렇게 만든 키링을 옷이나 가방에 달면 참 예쁘겠죠?
여러분에게 한국어뿐 아니라 한국 문화를 직간접적으로 체험할 수 있는 기회도 마련되어 있답니다. 여러 나라에서 온 친구들을 사귀고 한국어도 배우면서 한국 문화도 배우는 것, 정말 낭만적이지 않나요?

Mother-of-pearl craft, a distinguished constituent of Korea’s traditional artisanal heritage, entails the utilization of iridescent shell fragments to produce ornamental adhesive motifs, which are subsequently affixed to various objects for decorative purposes.
The activity undertaken on this occasion employed a specially designed kit that renders the practice of this traditional craft readily accessible to participants of all skill levels. The process involves the meticulous arrangement of diminutive mother-of-pearl fragments upon a keyring base fashioned in emblematic Korean forms, followed by the attachment of a metal ring fixture.
As illustrated in the accompanying images, the kits are available in several distinct variations, including designs inspired by the Gonryongpo—the ceremonial robe worn by monarchs of the Joseon Dynasty—as well as motifs resembling celadon and white porcelain. Each kit is furnished with an illustrated manual that provides comprehensive procedural guidance.

Gamcheon Culture Village – 감천문화마을
오늘은 외국인들에게 인기가 많은 감천문화마을에 갔어요.
감천문화마을에서 유명한 물고기 타일 앞에서 사진을 찍었어요.
다양한 가게들이 있어서 친구들 기념 선물도 사고 구경도 했어요.
무엇보다 곳곳에 예쁜 포토존들이 많아서 사진도 많이 찍을 수 있어서 좋았어요.
감천문화마을은 골목이 많아서 길을 잃기 쉬워요. 우리도 전망대에 가는 길을 찾으려고 올라갔다 내려갔다 하며 헤매다가 드디어 찾았어요. 힘들었지만 전망대에 도착하자마자 모두 탄성을 질렀어요. 풍경이 정말 멋졌기 때문이에요. 거기서 감천문화마을을 한 눈에 볼 수 있어서 더욱 좋았어요.
우리가 간 날은 날씨가 좋지 않아서 사람들이 많지 않았어요. 그래서 사진도 더 편하게 찍고 더 여유롭 둘러볼 수 있었어요.

Today we visited Gamcheon Culture Village, which is very popular with foreign visitors.
At Gamcheon Culture Village, we took photos in front of the famous fish-shaped tile wall.
There were many different shops, so we bought souvenirs for our friends and enjoyed looking around.
Most of all, there were many beautiful photo spots throughout the village, so it was great that we could take lots of pictures.
Gamcheon Culture Village has many alleys, so it’s easy to get lost. We also wandered around, going up and down the hills while trying to find the way to the observatory, but we finally found it. It was tiring, but as soon as we arrived at the observatory, everyone exclaimed in amazement because the view was so beautiful. It was even better because we could see the whole village at a glance from there.
The weather wasn’t very good on the day we went, so there weren’t many people. Because of that, we could take photos more comfortably and explore the village at a more relaxed pace.
I hope it became a wonderful memory for everyone!
Seoul Forest – 서울숲
안녕하세요. 오늘은 서울숲에 다녀왔어요.
서울숲은 단순히 나무와 산책길만 있는 숲이 아니라 다양한 동식물을 만나볼 수 있고 주말에는 여러 공연도 열리는 커다란 문화 공간이에요.
안타깝게도 군마상과 거울연못은 2026년 서울국제정원박람회 준비 공사로 인해 들어갈 수 없었어요. 하지만 곤충식물원과 벚나무길, 그리고 사슴방사장은 갈 수 있었어요.
오늘은 날씨가 너무 좋아서 가벼운 마음으로 산책을 했답니다.
저희가 먼저 들른 곳은 곤충식물원이었어요. 곤충식물원에서는 다양한 곤충과 귀여운 거북이, 그리고 여러 나무와 꽃을 구경할 수 있었어요.
다음으로 저희가 향한 곳은 사슴방사장이었어요. 사슴방사장에 가기 위해서는 벚나무길을 지나야 하는데, 4월에 오면 정말 예쁠 것 같았어요.
사슴방사장에 도착하니 귀여운 사슴들이 반겨줬어요.
다들 귀여운 사슴을 찍느라 바빴어요.
사슴방사장 위로는 한강으로 향하는 보행전망교가 있었어요. 날씨가 너무 좋아서 걸어보기로 했어요.
이렇게 서울숲과 한강까지 산책하고 활동을 마쳤어요. 날씨가 너무 좋아서 그런지 친구들 얼굴에도 미소가 끊이지 않았어요.
바쁜 도시의 생활에서 벗어나 잠시 힐링할 수 있는 시간이었답니다.
Hello! Today we visited Seoul Forest.
Seoul Forest is not just a place with trees and walking paths. It’s a large cultural space where you can see a variety of plants and animals, and there are often performances on weekends as well.
Unfortunately, the Equestrian Statue and Mirror Pond were closed because of construction for the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show. However, we were still able to visit the Insect Botanical Garden, the Cherry Blossom Path, and the Deer Enclosure.
The first place we stopped by was the Insect Botanical Garden. There, we could see a variety of insects, a cute turtle, and many different trees and flowers.
Next, we headed to the Deer Enclosure. To get there, we had to walk along the Cherry Blossom Path, and I couldn’t help but think how beautiful it must be in April.
When we arrived at the Deer Enclosure, the adorable deer seemed to welcome us. Everyone was busy taking photos of them.
Above the Deer Enclosure, there was a pedestrian observation bridge that leads toward the Han River. Since the weather was so nice, we decided to take a walk across it.
After walking through Seoul Forest and all the way to the Han River, we wrapped up our activity. Maybe it was because the weather was so nice, but smiles never left my friends’ faces.
It was a nice moment to step away from the busy city life and enjoy a little time to relax and recharge.
