많은 사람들이 한국의 고궁이라고 하면 경복궁을 알고 있겠지만, 사실 서울에는 창경궁, 창덕궁, 덕수궁 등 여러 궁궐이 있어요. 우리는 이번에 이 여러 궁궐들 중에서 덕수궁에 가 보았어요.
Many people may know Gyeongbokgung Palace when it comes to Korean palaces, but in fact, there are many palaces in Seoul, including Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. We have been to Deoksugung Palace among these various palaces.
덕수궁은 서울 시청 근처에 있는데, 경복궁보다는 규모가 작지만 근현대식의 건물도 내부에 있어서 새로운 분위기를 느낄 수 있어요.
Deoksugung Palace is located near Seoul City Hall, and although it is smaller than Gyeongbokgung Palace, modern and contemporary buildings are also inside, so you can feel a new atmosphere.
사실 한국은 지금 벚꽃이 피는 이른 봄이라서 덕수궁 안에서도 곳곳에서 예쁘게 피어 있는 벚꽃을 볼 수 있었어요.
In fact, it is early spring in Korea when cherry blossoms bloom, so we could see cherry blossoms blooming everywhere in Deoksugung Palace.
그래서인지 덕수궁과 그 옆 돌담길은 데이트 장소로도 유명해요.
Maybe that’s why Deoksugung Palace and the stone wall road next to it are also famous for dating places.
덕수궁 안에 있는 기념품 가게에 들어오면 예쁘고 한국적인 기념품을 살 수 있어요.
If you enter the souvenir shop in Deoksugung Palace, you can buy pretty and Korean souvenirs.
